Not to be dramatic, but the 2025 Tony Awards<\/a>, presented Sunday evening at New York\u2019s Radio City Music Hall, really gave us something to sing about.<\/p>\n

The ceremony where the honorees for Broadway\u2019s best performances and productions of the year are saluted is a star-studded, sequin-spangled affair. Host Cynthia Erivo,<\/strong> herself a Tony winner and a costar of the two-part film adaptation of the hit musical Wicked,<\/em> presided over the 78th annual presentation of New York theater\u2019s most prestigious awards. Tonys were awarded this year to nominees across 26 competitive categories<\/a>, with a handful of special awards given out as well.<\/p>\n

Maybe Happy Ending<\/em> was the big winner of the show, scooping up six awards throughout the night, including best new musical, best direction of a musical, and best lead actor in a musical, while Sunset Blvd.<\/em> was the favorite musical revival of the evening.<\/p>\n
