It\u2019s been the hardest season of life \u2014 for me, my husband, and our two young kids.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rouch says her prognosis is \u201cexcellent\u201d and that she\u2019s expected to make a full recovery.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201c1 in 8 American women will get invasive breast cancer,\u201d she wrote in her post. \u201c42,000 die every year. Rates are rising for young women. I\u2019m sharing my story [\u2026] to get their attention and encourage them to prioritize their health over the demands of families and jobs. A routine exam saved my life. It could save yours too.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rouch, who previously worked with Briggs at Meta, joined OpenAI in December.
