Reaching for the stars! Dancing Queens<\/em>\u2019 Sabrina Strasser<\/strong> has a \u201cdream\u201d of bringing her talents to another dance competition series.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s my manifestation for the Queens to be on Dancing With the Stars<\/em><\/a>,\u201d the SabiChic<\/a> founder exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em> ahead of the Tuesday, May 9, premiere of the new Bravo reality series. \u201cWe each get paired up with a pro and see how we can win there.\u201d<\/p>\n Dancing Queens<\/em> follows Sabrina and her friends \u2014 including Colette Marotto<\/strong>, Donie Burch<\/strong>, Ga\u00eblle Benchetrit<\/strong>, Leonie Biggs<\/strong> and Pooja Mehta<\/strong> \u2014 as they balance their real-life relationships with the demanding \u2014 and often dramatic<\/a> \u2014 world of ballroom dance<\/a>.<\/p>\n The stay-at-home mom even credits DWTS<\/em> with sparking her passion for dancing. \u201cI think they\u2019re doing a great job at showing how the pros can teach non-pros and, and how non-pros can see how difficult it is,\u201d Sabrina told Us<\/em> of the show, which is returning to ABC for season 32<\/a> after briefly airing on Disney+<\/a>.<\/p>\n Sabrina, however, pointed out that real-life dance competitions are much more difficult than the ones viewers see on TV. Where the DWTS<\/em> professionals get to teach their contestants<\/a> \u201cone dance [a week] and perfect it,\u201d she and her fellow Queens \u201chave five [routines] that we go out each time to different music.\u201d Their competitions also typically feature many dancers on the floor at a time, as opposed to one.<\/p>\n \u201cWe don\u2019t know what\u2019s coming, so it\u2019s totally different,\u201d the Canada native \u2014 who is married to Ronnie Strasser<\/strong> \u2014 continued. \u201cFloor craft is a huge deal. But I think it would be a great show if the two met.\u201d<\/p>\n While she\u2019s still manifesting an official crossover, fans may see some familiar DWTS<\/em> faces pop up on Dancing Queens<\/em>. As teased in a first-look preview<\/a> for the show released last month, Val Chmerkovskiy<\/strong><\/a> will appear on the series to work alongside Donie. (He and his wife, Jenna Johnson<\/strong><\/a>, welcomed their first child<\/a> together, son Rome, earlier this year.)<\/p>\n Sabrina, for her part, has experience working with some of DWTS<\/em>\u2019 biggest names, including Pasha Pashkov<\/strong><\/a>, Daniella Karagach<\/strong><\/a> and Karina Smirnoff<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 but she has others in mind when it comes to her dream ballroom partner.<\/p>\n \u201cI know Derek Hough<\/strong><\/a> is not really teaching, but him,\u201d Sabrina \u2014 who currently competes alongside pro dancer Stanislav Kochergin<\/strong> \u2014 revealed. \u201cMark Ballas<\/strong><\/a> is retired now, but him. \u2026 They\u2019re all so wonderful. Like, Val I would kill for, you know? All of them. Maksim [Chmerkovskiy]<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 like, how could you even say no? I mean, it would be a dream.\u201d<\/p>\n For now, she\u2019s enjoying her partnership with Stanislav, telling Us<\/em> that he is like her \u201csecond husband\u201d<\/a> and that she feels \u201csafe\u201d with him.<\/p>\n \u201cI started [dancing] with him when I was 33 and those 12 years have been incredible,\u201d said Sabrina. \u201cHe\u2019s seen me through pregnancy, he\u2019s seen me after delivery. Like, he\u2019s been there for everything. And sometimes you forget that they\u2019re your pro because you treat them like your best friend.\u201d<\/p>\n Dancing Queens<\/em> premieres on Bravo Tuesday, March 9, at 9 p.m. ET.<\/p>\n
