Dakota Johnson<\/strong><\/a> was spotted without her engagement ring in her first public appearance amid reports that she has separated from Coldplay\u2019s Chris Martin<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Daily Mail<\/em><\/a> obtained pictures of the Madame Web actress, 35, taking a stroll through New York City\u2019s Tribeca neighborhood on Wednesday, June 4, sans the emerald engagement ring she has been seen wearing in the past.<\/p>\n

For the occasion, Johnson kept things low-key, wearing a sleeveless tan top, oversized brown pants and a large sunhat.<\/p>\n

The actress was spotted in Tribeca on Wednesday, just hours before People<\/em> reported that she and Martin, 48, had recently split<\/a> after nearly eight years together. (Us Weekly<\/em> reached out to reps for both stars on Wednesday.)<\/p>\n

Us Weekly exclusively confirmed in December 2017 that the Coldplay singer had moved on with Johnson less than two years after his divorce from Gwyneth Paltrow was finalized in July 2016. In recent months, the stars have faced speculation about the status of their relationship. Despite supporting Martin during his summer 2024 tour with Coldplay, Johnson raised eyebrows when she was spotted without her engagement ring in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

Johnson\u2019s rep, however, denied there were any issues, telling Us<\/em><\/a> in August 2024, \u201cThe reports are not true. They are happily together.\u201d<\/p>\n

The couple was last seen publicly together in Malibu last month. Martin and Johnson were photographed holding hands in India<\/a> at the beginning of the year. During the trip, the pair were filmed participating in a religious ceremony at Mumbai\u2019s Hindu House of Prayer Babulnath Temple.<\/p>\n

Martin and Johnson have been linked together since December 2017<\/a>, following his divorce from Gwyneth Paltrow<\/strong>. The notoriously private couple \u2014 who were rarely photographed together \u2014 briefly broke up in the summer of 2019.<\/p>\n
