Andy Cohen<\/strong><\/a> is here to reassure fans that The Real Housewives of New Jersey<\/em><\/a> is moving forward as it prepares for a 15th season.<\/p>\n

Cohen, 57, appeared on the Tuesday, June 3, episode of The View<\/em> where he addressed the future of the show amid the ongoing strife<\/a> between cast members Teresa Giudice<\/strong> and Melissa Gorga<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was really on a deep pause and we are actively there casting and looking at the future of what that will be,\u201d Cohen said, adding, \u201cIt\u2019s a great franchise, and we love it. I just have to reiterate that.\u201d<\/p>\n

With Teresa, 53, and Melissa, 46, refusing to shoot together, the future of RHONJ<\/em> was left in doubt. Season 14 did not have a traditional reunion for the first time in the series\u2019 history as the cast watched and commented on the finale in separate rooms and Cohen himself said it felt like a series finale.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tAndy Cohen is game for a Real Housewives of New Jersey shakeup. During the Monday, July 15, episode of SiriusXM\u2019s \u201cAndy Cohen Live,\u201d a fan called in to ask Cohen, 56, whether it was time to \u201crebrand\u201d the Bravo show. \u201cYes,\u201d Cohen simply replied. The fan noted that it\u2019s \u201ctime to do what happened with [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

RHONJ<\/em> was also conspicuously left out of Bravo\u2019s renewal announcements in May. Teresa told Us Weekly<\/em> exclusively in March that it was \u201crelaxing\u201d to take a break<\/a> from the show. Her castmate, Dolores Catania<\/strong>, took a different viewpoint.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt least [when you\u2019re filming] you\u2019re running on the adrenaline of what you have to do and what\u2019s expected of you,\u201d Dolores, 54, told Us<\/em>. \u201cAnd then all of a sudden it\u2019s like, \u2018Wait, it\u2019s been a while now since I\u2019ve done that.\u2019 And then it\u2019s, like, you go through a little thing \u2014 almost like a breakup.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cohen also shed some light on the future of The Real Housewives of New York City<\/em>, confirming that season 16 will welcome some new faces.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are between seasons, where we typically do a little casting, which is what\u2019s happening now, and we\u2019re very close,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cDolores may be appearing on The Real Housewives of Rhode Island<\/em>, but not necessarily in a friend or full-time capacity,\u201d an insider told Us<\/em> in May. \u201cShe has authentic roots there, and the idea is she would set a tone but not as an official cast member.\u201d<\/p>\n
