The skin cancer was already at stage 2.<\/p>\n<p>After that, she underwent a series of surgeries \u2014 over a dozen. In January of 2024, she appeared to be cancer-free.<\/p>\n<p>Three months later, however, Teddi ended up undergoing emergency <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2025\/02\/teddi-mellencamp-details-brain-surgery-removal-of-4-tumors\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">brain surgery<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>Doctors had found tumors in her lungs and brain. Her cancer was back, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2025\/04\/teddi-mellencamp-reveals-stage-4-cancer-diagnosis\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">now at stage 4<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" data-instgrm-captioned=\"\" data-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/reel\/DIzGxkIT7v2\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;utm_campaign=loading\" data-instgrm-version=\"14\" style=\" background:#FFF; border:0; border-radius:3px; box-shadow:0 0 1px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.5),0 1px 10px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.15); margin: 1px; max-width:540px; min-width:326px; padding:0; width:99.375%; width:-webkit-calc(100% - 2px); width:calc(100% - 2px);\"\/>\n<p>By March of 2025, Teddi was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2025\/04\/teddi-mellencamp-burial-plans-john\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">putting her affairs in order<\/a>. (He, too, is reportedly no longer married)<\/p>\n<p>Discussion of the divorce and what led to it has taken a back seat as Teddi\u2019s cancer battle reignited.
