News (@enews) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/enews\/status\/1929692041631473911?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">June 3, 2025<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Joshua Jackson filed a motion requesting an emergency custody order modification on May 30, alleging that ex-wife Jodie Turner-Smith enrolled their 5-year-old daughter Juno in a new school for kindergarten this fall without his permission and outside of the agreed-upon 45 minute commute from his house. <\/p>\n<p><b>In his filing, JJ alleged JTS hadn\u2019t checked with him before enrolling Juno in a new school, violating a prior agreement<\/b> stating she could choose Juno\u2019s school if they could not agree to one. <b>He further detailed his and his ex-wife\u2019s differing beliefs when it comes to their daughter\u2019s education, citing a text from JTS in which she said Juno&#8217;s academic experience doesn&#8217;t \u201crequire a fixed location&#8221;<\/b> and expressed she could use tutors and remote learning. <\/p>\n<p><b>JJ expressed concern JTS &#8220;is attempting to create a scenario where Juno travels with her rather than attending a traditional school<\/b>&#8230;Even in the best case it cannot begin to provide a child with the same nurturing and enrichment, peer relationships and social skills that a classroom and school community environment provides.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>He also said Juno is flourishing in her current school and has too many personal changes to her life recently, including her parents&#8217; divorce and her primary home burning down in the Los Angeles fires. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/enews\/status\/1929692041631473911\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Source<\/a> <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><br \/>\n<br \/><br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/ohnotheydidnt.livejournal.com\/130669595.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Source link <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The custody battle between Joshua Jackson and Jodie Turner-Smith continues. https:\/\/t.co\/oxr8KFgPPf pic.twitter.com\/WjSOWk99xz \u2014 E!
