Data-labeling startup Scale AI has hired the team behind Pesto AI, which helps companies recruit developers remotely, according to a blog post by one of Pesto\u2019s founders<\/a>.<\/p>\n Founded in 2017 by Ayush Jaiswal and Indian food delivery platform Swiggy\u2019s co-founder Rahul Jaimini, Pesto AI is backed<\/a> by the likes of Product Hunt\u2019s Ryan Hoover and Gumroad\u2019s Sahil Lavingia. According to Crunchbase, it has raised more than $8 million in funding.<\/p>\n Pesto will be shutting down its operations. According to its LinkedIn page<\/a>, Pesto had 71 employees, but it\u2019s not clear how many of those are joining Scale AI.<\/p>\n \u201cEarlier this year, I made the exciting decision to join Scale.
