But the grin <strong>Caitlin Clark<\/strong> displayed Saturday, as the Pacers claimed the Eastern Conference championship trophy, offers a counter-narrative. On a night like that one, maybe living in the Hoosier state isn&#8217;t all that bad.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vanityfair.com\/news\/the-caitlin-clark-effect?\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Iowa-born-and-raised<\/a> Clark <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vanityfair.com\/news\/caitlin-clark-wnba-draft?\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">settled in Indiana last year<\/a> after the top WNBA draft pick was chosen by the Indiana Fever. Since then, Caitlin Clark has headed to Indy&#8217;s Gainbridge Fieldhouse even when she&#8217;s off the clock, for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vanityfair.com\/style\/story\/travis-kelce-caitlin-clark-taylor-swift-eras-tour?\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">events like the final US stops<\/a> in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vanityfair.com\/style\/story\/taylor-swift-travis-kelce-indianapolis-eras-tour\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Taylor Swift<\/strong>&#8216;s Eras Tour<\/a>.
