Derek Hough<\/strong><\/a> is weighing in on whether Taylor<\/strong><\/a> and Tay Lautner<\/strong> could be heading to the ballroom for season 34 of Dancing With the Stars<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m bored,\u201d Hough, 40, wrote in a Saturday, May 31, TikTok<\/a>. \u201cCast someone I\u2019d have no choice but to go from judge back to pro again for. Make it realistic but also go big. Don\u2019t hold back. DWTS<\/em> casting team is listening.\u201d<\/p>\n Social media users quickly took to the comments section to suggest possible contestants, including Taylor Swift<\/strong> (Hough replied, \u201cOK twist my arm\u201d), Britney Spears<\/strong> (He wrote, \u201cUltimate\u201d), Sabrina Carpenter<\/strong> (He claimed, \u201cWe used to work out together\u201d) \u2014 or the Lautners.<\/p>\n \u201cTaylor Lautner himself or his wife Tay,\u201d one user wrote, to which Hough replied, \u201cThis might actually happen.\u201d<\/p>\n ? @Dancing with the Stars DWTS <\/p>\n \u266c Romeo and Juliet, Op. 64, Act 1: Dance of the Knights \u2013 Andr\u00e9 Previn<\/a> <\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/blockquote>\n Tay, 28, has been vocal about her desire to compete on the show, sharing in a January 2024 episode of her and Taylor\u2019s \u201cThe Squeeze\u201d<\/a> podcast that being cast \u201cwould be really fun.\u201d Taylor, 33, chimed in to add that being on DWTS<\/em> is his wife\u2019s \u201cdream.\u201d<\/p>\n Hough, for his part, won six Mirrorball Trophies during his time on DWTS<\/em> before exiting from the ABC reality dancing competition in 2016. He returned four years later as a judge. Hough is expected to return<\/a> as a judge for season 34 of DWTS<\/em>, which is set to premiere in the fall.<\/p>\n While the full cast \u2014 and returning pros \u2014 have yet to be announced, ABC revealed in April that Robert Irwin<\/strong> had been slated as the first celebrity contestant<\/a>. The next month, Robert, 21, exclusively told Us Weekly that he would be seeking the advice and support of sister Bindi Irwin<\/strong> while appearing on DWTS<\/em>. (Bindi, 26, won with Hough in 2015.)<\/p>\n \u201cI remember watching [her] on that show just thinking, \u2018This is the coolest thing ever,\u2019\u201d Robert told Us<\/em>.<\/p>\n In May, influencer Alix Earle<\/strong> was announced as the second star <\/a>competing for the Mirrorball Trophy.<\/p>\n\n
