Wedding bells rang for Hailee Steinfeld<\/strong><\/a> and Josh Allen<\/strong><\/a> as the couple officially got married.<\/p>\n

The couple were photographed tying the knot in California on Saturday, May 31, after being spotted one day earlier at a rehearsal ceremony, according to People<\/em><\/a>. Steinfeld wore a white strapless gown, with opera gloves and a long white veil.<\/p>\n

The Pitch Perfect 2<\/em> actress and the Buffalo Bills quarterback were first linked in May 2023<\/a> when they were spotted on multiple dates in New York City. The following month, a source exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em> that Steinfeld was \u201cexcited\u201d about her future with Allen<\/a> since he was \u201cthe first guy in a while [she\u2019d] been really interested in.\u201d<\/p>\n

During an August 2023 appearance on the \u201cPardon My Take\u201d podcast, Allen opened up about his romance<\/a> with Steinfeld for the first time.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tHailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen kept their romance quiet to start\u00a0in May 2023 before announcing their engagement less than two years later. Allen was linked to Steinfeld just weeks after eagle-eyed fans noticed in April 2023 that his longtime girlfriend Brittany Williams unfollowed him on social media. Williams proceeded to wipe her Instagram clean of [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cThe fact that anybody cares about that still blows my mind,\u201d he said of headlines about his PDA with Steinfeld while on vacation.<\/p>\n

While the pair have kept their relationship relatively private, Allen made it Instagram official<\/a> in July 2024 when he shared a handful of photos featuring Steinfeld, including some from a trip to Paris and at a gathering with his family.<\/p>\n

After more than one year of dating, Allen and Steinfeld got engaged<\/a> in November 2024. \u201c\u267e\ufe0f 11\u202222\u202224 \u267e\ufe0f,\u201d they captioned a joint Instagram post that showed him down on one knee under a flower arch and surrounded by candles at the waterfront.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tHailee Steinfeld grew up in the limelight \u2014 but that doesn\u2019t mean she\u2019s always liked to share her love life so publicly. \u201cI feel so lucky that [my fans] care enough about me to know what I\u2019m doing every second of every day, but I think that sometimes it\u2019s hard for people in general to [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In December 2024, Allen revealed in Steinfeld\u2019s \u201cBeau Society\u201d newsletter that he was \u201cnervous\u201d<\/a> about her discovering his proposal plans.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was hard to keep secrets from you and have other people in your life keep secrets from you,\u201d he said. \u201cThen, multiple times throughout the day a song would come on and I would tear up thinking about how special our day was going to be.\u201d<\/p>\n

Allen then shared details of his proposal. \u201cI said, \u2018I couldn\u2019t wait any longer.\u2019 I said, \u2018I can\u2019t wait to start a family with you,\u2019\u201d he recalled. \u201cI said your full name, and I asked you very nicely. I said please.\u201d<\/p>\n

Allen noted that Steinfeld was \u201cextremely surprised\u201d and said yes, which was \u201call that mattered\u201d to him, adding, \u201cIt feels unbelievable to be engaged to someone who is so special and loving and caring and gorgeous and fun and happy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Allen also revealed that Steinfeld had grown somewhat impatient waiting for him to pop the question.<\/p>\n
