Brooklyn Peltz Beckham<\/strong> and wife Nicola Peltz Beckham<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s wedding allegedly caused friction with his mother, Victoria Beckham<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Brooklyn, 26, and Nicola, 30, got married in April 2022<\/a> with a star-studded ceremony and reception held in Palm Beach, Florida, capped off with a performance from Marc Anthony<\/strong>. (The Latin Grammy winner, 56, is a longtime friend of Victoria, 51, and her husband, David Beckham<\/strong>.)<\/p>\n

\u201cThe dance was a meaningful centerpiece planned just for the couple,\u201d a source close to the family exclusively tells Us Weekly. <\/i>\u201cIt was a generous gift from Marc Anthony that the Peltz family put significant time and resources into, including staging and a live band at their home.\u201d<\/p>\n

During Nicola and Brooklyn\u2019s dance, Anthony allegedly asked Victoria to join him onstage. (People <\/i><\/a>reported that Anthony called the former Spice Girl \u201cthe most beautiful woman in the room,\u201d which allegedly left Nicola in tears.)<\/p>\n

Brooklyn proposed to Nicola in July 2020, and they got married two years later. Speculation soon swirled around his mother and wife\u2019s relationship after news broke that Nicola wore a Valentino gown [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s sad and inexplicable that such a special moment was hijacked<\/a>,\u201d the insider tells Us. <\/i>\u201cBut, Marc Anthony had no ill intentions.\u201d<\/p>\n

A second source who attended the nuptials, however, insists that Nicola didn\u2019t cry over the moment, and it wasn\u2019t ruined at all.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt the reception dinner, as is traditional, there were speeches and then the happy couple took to the floor for their first dance. In fact, they had two dances,\u201d the second insider says. \u201cAfter this, Nicola had a dance with her father, Nelson<\/strong>. And at this point, normally the groom would dance with his mom [and] for whatever reason, it didn\u2019t happen then. There was a band, everyone got up to dance after that.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to the second insider, Anthony performed later during the celebration.<\/p>\n

\u201cEveryone got up to dance, and as part of this, he pulled his best friends David and Victoria up on stage with him,\u201d the second source tells Us.<\/i> \u201cAnd then, [he] grabbed Brooklyn to dance with his mom and [his sister] Harper danced with David. [Brooklyn\u2019s brother] Cruz also got up with Eva Longoria. It was a fun family moment.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tThe Beckham family rift is nearing the point of no return as Brooklyn Beckham and his wife, Nicola Peltz, find themselves ostracized from Brooklyn\u2019s parents, David and Victoria. A source exclusively tells Us Weekly that Brooklyn, 26, has demanded he and Nicola, 30 receive \u201cspecial treatment\u201d from the family, which led to the couple being [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Brooklyn is the eldest child of David, 50, and Victoria, who also share Romeo, 23, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 13. The entire Beckham family was present for the big day and, according to the second source, no one was aware Nicola was allegedly upset.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo one realized in the moment that Nicola was upset as she just stormed out of the room<\/a>,\u201d the second source claims. \u201cShe returned later and appeared to be totally fine and the evening carried on to an afterparty with a DJ. Everyone there was utterly mystified as to why Nicola would get so upset about her husband having one dance with his mom at their wedding.\u201d<\/p>\n

Us Weekly <\/i>has reached out to reps for Brooklyn, Nicola and Victoria. Victoria and Nicola\u2019s teams had no comment.<\/p>\n
