\t\t<\/p>\n Actress Valerie Mahaffey<\/strong><\/a> has died at the age of 71. <\/p>\n Valerie<\/strong> passed away on Friday (May 30) in Los Angeles after a battle with cancer, The Hollywood Reporter<\/a><\/em> has confirmed. <\/p>\n Valerie<\/strong> was known for playing eccentric characters across her five-decade career. In 1992, she won an Emmy Award<\/strong><\/a> for playing Eve in the CBS show Northern Exposure<\/em> from 1991-1994.
