An engaged couple has exited the villa! Love Island USA<\/em><\/a> stars Marco Donatelli<\/strong> and Hannah Wright<\/strong> announced their engagement only two years after being crowned the season 5 winners.<\/p>\n \u201cTo my forever, last night, I asked the love of my life to be mine forever and she said, \u2018Yes,\u2019\u201d Marco, wrote in a lengthy tribute to his fianc\u00e9e via Instagram<\/a> on Thursday, May 29. \u201cFrom the very first moment we met, we were inseparable. Through every high, every challenge, every laugh and every tear we\u2019ve done it all side by side.\u201d<\/p>\n The Love Island USA<\/em> star told his followers that both he and Hannah had experienced the loss of a parent, but believed that the shared grief helped strengthen their bond.<\/p>\n \u201cI truly believe my mom sent me you. I see her love in your heart. I feel her peace in your touch,\u201d he wrote. \u201cAnd I know, without a doubt, your dad has been watching over us step by step, second by second leading us right to this moment.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cYou are my light. My rock. My best friend. My home. I can\u2019t wait to spend forever with you, Hannah. Hannah came as a bombshell during episode 2 and their connection was instant. Marco and Hannah coupled up on day three of the show and their instant chemistry quickly sparked rumors in the villa that the pair were \u201cgame playing.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cWhen people say that, I know it\u2019s not true, so I could care less if people say that we plotted to win. We\u2019ve just been ourselves the whole time,\u201d Hannah exclusively told Life & Style<\/em> after the August 2023 finale. \u201cWe made it to the finals \u2013 Marco didn\u2019t even know how the money thing worked at the end. He didn\u2019t know how somebody gets an envelope [full of the cash prize.] So, that just kind of shows how it wasn\u2019t something on our minds until it had to be in the final moments.\u201d<\/p>\n Marco told Life & Style<\/em> that the calculated rumors didn\u2019t \u201cbother\u201d him because he had \u201cthick skin\u201d and even affirmed back then, that his romance with Hannah was the real deal.<\/p>\n \u201cJust the journey throughout when I met her, just climbing that mountain together. When you climb a mountain, at some point you\u2019re going to reach the top of the mountain. The only thing you can do is look us down,\u201d he explained. \u201cSo, to see everything else in that process, unwind saying that we\u2019re applying to win, they must\u2019ve missed the fight to get to the top of the mountain, but all we can do right now is look down.\u201d<\/p>\n Hannah and Marco\u2019s relationship was put to the test when Marco\u2019s ex-girlfriend, Hannah Ortega<\/strong>, entered the villa. Despite the unexpected twist, the couple managed to overcome the obstacle and grow even stronger.
