The reality series aired on TLC from 2012 to 2014. The family initially became famous after Thompson appeared as a beauty pageant contestant on Toddlers & Tiaras before landing [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
She tells Us<\/em> that she\u2019s living proof that those who stop using \u201cthe shot\u201d will not automatically gain the weight back.<\/p>\nIt turns out her decision to get off semaglutide came by accident. Mama June realized she could stay healthy without the meds when she embarked on a 10-day road trip without them.<\/p>\n
\u201cI left my medication at home and realized in 10 days I could do without it,\u201d she says. \u201cI didn\u2019t get back on it.\u201d<\/p>\n
That doesn\u2019t mean Mama June has put her health concerns behind her. She underwent a \u201csurprise\u201d hysterectomy earlier this year and shares that she has other health problems that she\u2019s not ready to disclose.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m still dealing with health issues now,\u201d she says. \u201cWe\u2019re not releasing [it] to the public until we get all the answers.\u201d<\/p>\n
