Ever since the couple fell in love on The Real Housewives of Atlanta<\/i><\/span><\/a>, viewers have witnessed Kim and Kroy expand their family, move into their dream home and even earn a Bravo spinoff.<\/p>\n

While Don\u2019t Be Tardy<\/i><\/span><\/a> came to an end in December 2020, the family has continued to make headlines \u2014 both good and bad \u2014 for their milestones on and off camera.<\/p>\n

In June 2025, Ariana Biermann<\/span><\/a><\/strong> will return to reality TV when she stars in Next Gen NYC<\/i><\/span><\/a>, a Bravo series that follows a group of familiar faces from the Real Housewives <\/i>franchise and their friends as they navigate school, business ventures and overbearing parents eager to share their life advice.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was a little nervous,\u201d Ariana exclusively told Us<\/i> in April 2025 before the show\u2019s premiere. \u201cI filmed with my family for forever. \u2026 I\u2019m excited for people to see our side of who we are and how we are as adults.\u201d<\/p>\n

In October 2008, Bravo introduced viewers to NeNe Leakes<\/strong>, DeShawn Snow<\/strong>, Sheree Whitfield<\/strong>, Lisa Wu<\/strong> and Kim. Fans quickly became fascinated with Kim and NeNe\u2019s on-again, off-again friendship, as well as Kim\u2019s relationship with a mystery man named \u201cBig Poppa.\u201d<\/p>\n

In May 2010, everything changed for Kim when she was supporting Sheree\u2019s charity event. While attending a \u201cDancing With the Atlanta Stars\u201d party, she met Kroy and sparks flew. She left the show in season 5 for another special project.<\/p>\n

\u2018Don\u2019t Be Tardy\u2019 Premieres\u00a0<\/b><\/h3>\n

In April 2012, Bravo launched a spinoff to The Real Housewives of Atlanta<\/i> titled Don\u2019t Be Tardy for the Wedding<\/i>. Cameras rolled as Kim and Kroy documented their journey to the wedding altar.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s really fun and funny and surprising,\u201d Andy Cohen<\/strong> said of the show. \u201cAnd then [Kroy] takes a much more active role than he has in the past. So, he\u2019s more involved.\u201d<\/p>\n

The show continued for eight seasons and documented the couple welcoming four kids including sons KJ and Kash and twins Kaia and Kane.<\/p>\n

During a July 2013 interview with E! News<\/span><\/a>, Kroy confirmed that he officially adopted Kim\u2019s oldest daughters<\/span><\/a>, Brielle and Ariana.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know if I could love anybody else\u2019s children as much as Kroy loves the girls,\u201d Kim said. \u201cI just don\u2019t know if I have it in me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ariana Biermann Is Willingly Shocked By an Electric Dog Collar<\/b><\/h3>\n

In the summer of 2016, Ariana and her parents made headlines for a controversial social media post.<\/p>\n

According to a Snapchat video,<\/span><\/a> Ariana was spotted wearing an electric dog collar. Kroy proceeded to shock his daughter because she said she would do it in exchange for hanging out with her friends.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019ll do anything to hang out with her friends,\u201d Kim commented on the video. \u201cAnything \u2014 a dog collar. Eat poop, eat poop.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tThe Real Housewives of Atlanta has said goodbye to many cast members since its Bravo debut in 2008 \u2014 but there\u2019s always a chance they could return. For instance, original RHOA star NeNe Leakes left the show in season 7 before rejoining the cast in 2018. \u201cIt\u2019s been a long process but we\u2019ve finally reached [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Kash Biermann Is Victim of Dog Attack<\/b><\/h3>\n

In April 2017, Kim revealed that her then 4-year-old son underwent emergency surgery after he was bitten by a dog.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe last 14hrs of our lives has been a living nightmare,\u201d Kim shared via social media<\/span><\/a> at the time. \u201cMy sweet @kashbiermann was bit by a dog and had very traumatic injuries. I\u2019ve never prayed so hard, or been so scared in my life.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kash was able to make a full recovery after the scary incident.<\/p>\n

Zolciak-Biermann Family Meets John Legend and Chrissy Teigen\u00a0<\/b><\/h3>\n

When Kim and Kroy took their kids to meet John Legend<\/strong> and Chrissy Teigen<\/strong> at a May 2017 concert, the average fan may be totally impressed.<\/p>\n

But weeks before, Kim joked about what she would do to allow her son Kash to meet the \u201cAll of Me\u201d singer<\/span><\/a> and his wife.<\/p>\n

In August 2022, Ariana was arrested<\/span><\/a> in Georgia after getting into a car crash with another vehicle. After being pulled over, Ariana was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, underage possession\/purchase of alcohol and misdemeanor improper\/erratic lane change.<\/p>\n

After pleading guilty to reckless driving and possession and use of drug-related objects, Ariana was sentenced<\/span><\/a> in May 2025 to 24 months probation, $2,000 in fines and 40 hours of community service among other things. Other charges, including a DUI, were dropped by prosecutors.<\/p>\n

\u201cMs. Biermann maintained her innocence since her arrest. We are pleased that the State of Georgia eventually decided to dismiss the impaired driving charge and offer Ms. Biermann the opportunity to plead guilty to a traffic ticket,\u201d Ariana\u2019s lawyer, Justin Spizman<\/strong>, told In Touch<\/i><\/span><\/a> in a statement. \u201cDespite her desire to fight this case, she took advantage of the opportunity to put this matter behind her and focus her energy on all the positive endeavors in her life.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kim filed for divorce<\/span><\/a> from Kroy after 11 years of marriage in May 2023. While the couple briefly reconciled on multiple occasions, the pair made countless headlines during their separation as they struggled to finalize their divorce.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s been a really long divorce \u2014 two and a half f***ing years, and it\u2019s still not even almost done,\u201d Ariana told Us<\/i><\/span><\/a> in April 2025. \u201cShe\u2019s my best friend in the world.\u201d<\/p>\n
