Life & Style<\/em> breaks down the major cosmetic deal that thrusts the model into billionaire status.\n<\/p>\n Hailey has always been known to inspire It Girl trends and turned her signature glazed donut skin into a business endeavor when she founded Rhode Beauty in 2022.<\/p>\n She told People<\/em><\/a> that she began planning and concepting the brand during the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, specifically craving out time to oversee all facets of the brand including meeting with cosmetic chemists and dermatologists, testing out samples and evaluating formulas.<\/p>\n \u201cFor me, that spans across all things in my life \u2014 [from] beauty [to] how I edit my wardrobe. It\u2019s like that one really good pair of jeans you\u2019re always reaching for,\u201d she told the outlet in 2022. \u201cThat\u2019s how I look at skincare as well. Beauty signed a $1 billion deal to acquire Rhode Beauty.
