Good morning! Memorial Day<\/a> weekend is officially here, which always feels like a natural reset\u2014whether you\u2019re counting down the last days of school (with excitement, stress, or both) or just waiting for consistently warm weather.<\/p>\n Last week, Paul answered all your BBQ questions and made a strong case for ribs, which I second. There\u2019s still time to make Emma Laperruque\u2019s baby backs with dry rub<\/a>, or if you\u2019re cooking for a smaller crowd, her shrimp pasta<\/a> is a no-brainer. For dessert, I\u2019ve got my eye on EmilyC\u2019s berries with ros\u00e9<\/a>, this olive oil chocolate mousse<\/a>, or a stunning raspberry pistachio pavlova<\/a>.<\/p>\n If you missed it, Paul\u2019s plea to stock up on ice was also his Sunday Reset sign-off. In his absence, we\u2019ll be bringing in guest editors to share how they\u2019re resetting, rejuvenating, and most importantly, what they\u2019re cooking this summer.<\/p>\n This week, I\u2019m not doing much cooking myself (just moved\u2014glass of wine or ideally a bee\u2019s knees<\/a> on the mattress kind of situation), but I am making my summer cooking bucket list. I was recently in Nantucket for their annual food and wine fest<\/a> and tried some unforgettable pours\u2014including actual Champagne from France (spoken as someone who often just pretends Prosecco counts). So whatever\u2019s in my glass now\u2026 might be a little disappointing.<\/p>\n On the topic of wine, I sat down with Greg Lambrecht<\/a>, inventor of the Coravin wine opener<\/a>, to talk about his path from the medical world to wine tech. One thing he said stuck with me: Don\u2019t wait for a special occasion to open that nice bottle\u2014make a regular night special instead.
