HBO\u2019s \u2026And Just Like That<\/i> <\/a>follows its predecessor, Sex and the City<\/i><\/a>, when it comes to telling stylish stories in Manhattan<\/a> \u2014 and the homes themselves are just as chic to behold.<\/p>\n In the first season of the revival, Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker<\/strong>) had previously moved from her iconic brownstone in the East Village to live with husband Mr. Big (Chris Noth<\/strong>) uptown. After his shocking death<\/a> in the pilot, Carrie returned to her beloved studio. She ultimately moved again during season 2, finding a palatial penthouse to share with returning love interest Aidan Shaw (John Corbett<\/strong>).<\/p>\n \u201cOne of the interesting things that Michael [Patrick King<\/strong>, the showrunner] brought to us was that Carrie has kept her old apartment the way she always has, as her work sanctum, where she goes to write and whatnot,\u201d production designer Miguel L\u00f3pez-Castillo<\/strong> told Apartment Therapy<\/a> in 2021. \u201cThere is more of a feeling that she gets to do things there that she would not have in the apartment with Big, reflecting her travels, a different color sensibility, more her personality, whereas the apartment with Big had been decorated \u2026 very much with him in mind.\u201d<\/p>\n
