Jennifer Lopez has shared her summer plans<\/p>\n
The 55-year-old star is headlining WorldPride during June’s Pride Month in Washington, D.C, and Jennifer can’t wait to “make people sing and dance” over the coming weeks.<\/p>\n
The ‘Jenny from the Block’ hitmaker told People: “I\u2019m excited to tour. I\u2019m excited first to go do Pride. I\u2019m super excited about that. I\u2019m working on that show right now too as we speak, and crafting the tour as well. I\u2019m excited to get back out there.”<\/p>\n
Jennifer wants to ensure that her fans “have a good time” this summer.<\/p>\n
She said: “It seems like a perfect summer to celebrate being free and being happy.<\/p>\n
\n“Just everything in my life right now just feels really healthy and good, and I\u2019m ready to get out there and make people sing and dance and have a good time. That\u2019s always my goal.”<\/p>\n
\nThe chart-topping star is also planning to spend some quality time with her 17-year-old twins, Emme and Max.<\/p>\n
\nJennifer shared: “I think my kids are going to come to Pride because I\u2019m doing more of a concert [at WorldPride], so I\u2019m excited about that. They\u2019re sweet. They\u2019re the best.”<\/p>\n
\nMeanwhile, Jennifer recently revealed that she feels “proud” of her career.<\/p>\n
\nThe singer reflected on her career arc ahead of hosting the American Music Awards.<\/p>\n
\nShe told People: “Everything feels like I just did it.<\/p>\n
\n“I remember the moments. I remember getting dressed for them. I remember things people said when we were walking to the stage afterwards. <\/p>\n
\n“So it\u2019s all these amazing core memories of my life that when you look back on them \u2026 I don\u2019t know that I get emotional, but I definitely get like, \u2018Wow.\u2019 Happy. I\u2019ve been doing this and I\u2019m proud of that.”<\/p>\n
\nJennifer recently sat down to watch some of her old performances, and she was struck by how much she’s developed as an artist.<\/p>\n
\nThe singer is relishing the challenge of hosting the American Music Awards, too.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: “We were just looking at it to see the progression of the stuff that we\u2019ve done.<\/p>\n
\n“I don\u2019t know, it\u2019s just a very important part of my musical career and life.”<\/p>\n
