One year after Kourtney Kardashian<\/strong><\/a> and husband Travis Barker<\/strong><\/a> announced plans to pause their in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatments,<\/a> she is embracing her body\u2019s changes<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cA little IVF body,\u201d the Lemme founder, 44, captioned a Wednesday, May 3, Instagram Story tribute for her pal Natalie<\/strong>\u2019s birthday.<\/p>\n Kardashian had shared a slew of throwback photos of the besties<\/a>, including a poolside snap with designer Nicole Williams English<\/strong> as they all attended an event for Kardashian\u2019s lifestyle brand<\/a>. \u201cAlways supporting Poosh<\/a>,\u201d the Hulu personality added in her Wednesday caption.<\/p>\n Kardashian\u00a0and the Blink-182 drummer, 47, had previously undergone IVF cycles<\/a> following their October 2021 engagement, hoping to conceive their first child together<\/a>. The\u00a0Keeping Up With the Kardashians\u00a0<\/i>alum is already a mother<\/a> to sons Mason, 13, and Reign, 8, and daughter Penelope, 10,<\/a> whom she coparents with ex Scott Disick<\/strong><\/a>. Barker, for his part, shares son Landon, 19, and daughter Alabama, 16,<\/a> with ex-wife Shanna Moakler<\/a>.<\/strong> The \u201cAll the Small Things\u201d musician is also a father figure to Moakler\u2019s daughter Atiana, 23,<\/a> from a previous relationship.<\/p>\n \u201cThe fertility journey, Travis and I, we stay in the moment and\u00a0just do the steps that we need to do,\u201d Kardashian said during a May 2022 episode of\u00a0The\u00a0Kardashians<\/i><\/a>, before documenting doctors\u2019 visits and egg retrievals.\u00a0\u201cIt is nice to hear good news and have some positivity. We love that, but we just wait to hear the final words.\u201d<\/p>\n The twosome ultimately decided to take a break from trying to have a baby while they planned their Italian nuptials<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cWe started an IVF journey, but I stopped. It was a lot. I took a break to just focus on our wedding and getting married,\u201d the Poosh founder later told\u00a0WSJ\u00a0magazine<\/i>\u00a0in September 2022<\/a>. \u201cIt\u2019s all these things you can\u2019t do: No sex, no caffeine, no alcohol, no sugar. You\u2019ve gotta eat this really clean, strict diet and you do it for five days. It\u2019s to reset your body.\u201d<\/p>\n She added at the time: \u201cYou do all of that \u2014 and it\u2019s cleaning out [the toxins from] your tissues. And then you go into this spa and do treatments every day for four hours. Everything is very ritualistic and has a purpose, and it\u2019s fascinating. I was doing it mostly for cleansing my body [in preparation to] hopefully have a baby.\u201d<\/p>\n Kardashian and the Barker Wellness founder wed for the third time in Portofino, Italy, in May 2022<\/a>. As the pair enjoy their newlywed bliss, several of the reality TV star\u2019s social media photos have sparked pregnancy speculation \u2014 which she\u2019s shot down<\/a>.<\/p>\n After a social media user asked in March if she was pregnant, Kardashian revealed via Instagram comment that her physique was a result of \u201cthe after affects [sic] of IVF.\u201d<\/p>\n She wrote: \u201cI only acknowledge this comment bc I do think it\u2019s important to know how IVF affects women\u2019s bodies<\/a> and it\u2019s not spoken about much. \u2026 Also are we still asking women if they\u2019re pregnant?\u00a0\ud83d\udc9b<\/span>.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
