Tony Romo<\/strong> shared his thoughts on Taylor Swift<\/b><\/a> and <\/span>Travis Kelce<\/b><\/a>\u2019s romance, saying that the relationship has been \u201cnet positive\u201d for the tight end.<\/p>\n \u201cPeople won\u2019t even realize this, but he\u2019s probably doing less than he used to when he was younger,\u201d Tony, 45, told Us Weekly<\/em><\/a> about Travis, 35, amid his romance with Taylor, 35. \u201cIf you get your picture taken going to dinner with your superstar girlfriend, it looks like you\u2019re going out or something. No, he just went to dinner. Almost as if he\u2019s married, going to dinner with his wife or something. He didn\u2019t get photographed when he was going out with his buddies all the time.\u201d<\/p>\n Tony added that Travis is \u201cfar less out there\u201d than he used to be during the early days of his career. However, Travis has still managed to increase his level of fame and popularity.<\/p>\n \u201cHe\u2019s doing far less things than when he was younger. It\u2019s just the fact that if you\u2019re written about a lot and it\u2019s not about football, some people are always going to think that it plays a role,\u201d he said. \u201cBut the truth is that it can be a net positive if you look at it closely.\u201d<\/p>\n The retired quarterback went on to say that he\u2019s not worried for Travis\u2019 professional career after his less than stellar 2024-2025 season, which ended with the Kansas City Chiefs losing the Super Bowl<\/a> to the Philadelphia Eagles.<\/p>\n \u201cThat was his first whole season being under that microscope,\u201d Tony said, alluding to his high-profile romance with the \u201cShake It Off\u201d singer. \u201cIt was the first full season and offseason where the public and the world knew. Like anybody, we all learn through experience and we get wiser.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cNot that [Travis] has to do anything,\u201d Tony continued. \u201cThe guy is a [future] Hall of Famer who has played at the highest level. He\u2019s won Super Bowls. He\u2019s made some of the biggest plays in the most clutch situations ever. I think he\u2019ll figure things out real quick, even if there was something to figure out. I think everyone should just put their trust in him.\u201d<\/p>\n Tony wrapped up the topic by adding that Travis has found \u201chimself a wonderful, wonderful girlfriend.\u201d<\/p>\n Travis and Taylor first began dating in the summer of 2023, and they confirmed their romance in September of that year when she attended her first Chiefs game<\/span><\/a> alongside his mom, <\/span>Donna Kelce<\/b>.
