\t\t<\/p>\n Jimmy Kimmel<\/strong><\/a> is a grandfather!<\/p>\n On Tuesday night (May 20), the 57-year-old late-night talk show returned to hosting Jimmy Kimmel Live!<\/em> after canceling the show the night before.<\/p>\n In his opening monologue, Jimmy<\/strong> explained that he canceled the previous night\u2019s show because his 33-year-old daughter Katie Kimmel<\/strong><\/a> gave birth to her first child with husband Will Logsdon<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span>\u201cI am the host of the show. Thank you, thank you for coming, thank you for watching, thank you for joining us here in Hollywood,\u201d Jimmy<\/strong> started the episode. \u201cWe are back to work after an extra day off. You know, we were supposed to have a show last night, but we didn\u2019t because my daughter had a baby last night.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cMy oldest daughter \u2013 you know, people don\u2019t realize, people that know I have two little kids, they don\u2019t know I have to older kids,\u201d he continued. \u201cMy oldest daughter, she\u2019s 83-years-old. Her name is Katie. Katie and her husband Will had a baby girl right at the time we shoot our show last night. So I decided to be there instead here.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThe baby\u2019s very healthy. Her name, they gave her a very cute name. Her name is Melania,\u201d Jimmy joked. \u201cIt\u2019s Melanie Thee Stallion\u2026her name is Patti. Like the melt, but with an \u2018I\u2019 not a \u2018Y.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n He later added that Patti<\/strong>\u2018s middle name is Joan, which is his mother\u2019s name.<\/p>\n Jimmy<\/strong> shares Katie<\/strong> and son Kevin<\/strong>, 31, with ex-wife Gina Maddy<\/strong>, whom he was married to from 1988 to 2003. In 2013, he married wife Molly McNearney<\/strong><\/a> and they share daughter Jane<\/strong>, 10, and son Billy<\/strong>, 8.<\/p>\n Katie<\/strong> and Will<\/strong> got married in September 2020.<\/a><\/p>\n Congrats to the new parents!<\/p>\n
