\t\t<\/p>\n Kevin Spacey<\/strong><\/a> is at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival<\/strong><\/a><\/em> and he\u2019s getting an award this week as part of a \u201cguerilla marketing\u201d stunt in hopes of selling his next movie.<\/p>\n The 65-year-old actor was spotted in a tuxedo while walking around the croisette on Monday night (May 19) in Cannes, France.<\/p>\n The controversial actor\u2019s career took a turn after facing several allegations of sexual misconduct, but he recently shot a new movie after winning trials that happened in both New York and London. <\/p>\n Kevin <\/strong>will next be seen in the British indie film The Awakening<\/em> and his trip to Cannes has been orchestrated by the producers of the project, according to Variety<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n The outlet reports that Kevin <\/strong>is receiving a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Better World Fund\u2019s Gala at the festival.<\/p>\n \u201cThe guy that runs [the gala] is a big fan of Kevin and I just said, \u2018Look, here\u2019s a crazy idea: if I asked him to come, what can you do for him?\u2019 So it kind of happened organically,\u201d producer Matt Hookings <\/strong>of Camelot Films told Variety<\/em>.<\/p>\n Matt <\/strong>added, \u201cA lot of people really like him, so you\u2019ll have a lot of people going, \u2018This is really cool.\u2019 And then you\u2019ll have some people that\u2019ll be like, \u2018What the f\u2013k is he doing here?\u2019 But hopefully the people who say, \u2018What the f\u2013k is he doing,\u2019 when they realize why he\u2019s here they\u2019ll give him a second chance.\u201d<\/p>\n An Oscar-nominated actor recently spoke out with allegations against Kevin<\/strong><\/a>, which the actor denied. <\/p>\n <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n
