How time flies! Meghan Markle<\/strong><\/a> celebrated her seventh wedding anniversary with Prince Harry<\/strong><\/a> by sharing rare photos of the life they\u2019ve built together \u2014 including their children.<\/p>\n Meghan, 43, posted the collage of pictures<\/a> pinned to a board to her Instagram page on Monday, May 19. The Duchess of Sussex included a note that read, \u201cOur love story\u201d in the center, with her flared handwriting.<\/p>\n \u201cSeven years of marriage. A lifetime of stories,\u201d the former Suits<\/em> star wrote in the caption of the post.<\/p>\n \u201cThanks to all of you (whether by our side, or from afar) who have loved and supported us throughout our love story \u2013 we appreciate you,\u201d Meghan told fans, adding, \u201cHappy anniversary!\u201d<\/p>\n She included several of the couple\u2019s engagement portraits, released after Harry, 40, and Meghan announced their engagement in November 2017, as well as photos taken on vacations to Botswana and Norway while they were dating.<\/p>\n Pictures of the duo\u2019s May 2018 royal wedding were included, along with the handwritten lyrics in Meghan\u2019s penmanship to the song \u201cStand by Me,\u201d which was played at the service.<\/p>\n Additionally, she shared several snapshots from the couple\u2019s life as senior working members of the British royal family, along with pictures of their first child, Prince Archie, 6, as a baby.<\/p>\n Meghan added plenty of photos of post-royal life, including the couple on the grounds of their Montecito, California, estate<\/a>, as well as family photos at the beach and on hikes where their daughter, Princess Lilibet, 3, took part.<\/p>\n Prince Harry and Meghan Markle<\/p>\n <\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n Per usual, Meghan did not include any photos showing Archie and Lilibet\u2019s faces for privacy purposes, with the exception of pictures of their son as a baby.<\/p>\n Meghan and Harry tied the knot at Windsor Castle\u2019s St. George\u2019s Chapel in front of 600 guests. Those included members of the royal family, as well as such celebrities as George<\/strong> and Amal Clooney<\/strong>, Serena Williams<\/strong>, Elton John<\/strong>, David<\/strong> and Victoria Beckham<\/strong> and members of the Suits<\/em> cast.<\/p>\n The couple famously stepped down as senior working royals<\/a> in early 2020, after seeking a half-in, half-out agreement that the late Queen Elizabeth II denied. Harry and Meghan were allowed to keep their His and Her Royal Highness titles, but promised the queen they would not use them.<\/p>\n The duo was already living outside Vancouver, Canada, at the time of the decision. They relocated to Los Angeles in March 2020, before paying nearly $15 million for their Montecito mansion in June 2020. Harry and Meghan went on to sign mega-bucks deals with Netflix and Spotify while forging an independent life away from the royal family.<\/p>\n Meghan caused a stir when her pal, Jamie Kern Lima<\/strong>, recently revealed the duchess sent her a note along with a gift basket where she used her HRH title, along with her royal cypher.<\/p>\n Jamie shared how Meghan sent her \u201chomemade strawberry sauce,\u201d during an April episode of her self-titled podcast, along with a note that read \u201cWith the Compliments of HRH The Duchess of Sussex.\u201d<\/p>\n The move sparked reports that Prince William<\/strong> might strip the couple of the HRH titles once he becomes king.<\/p>\n The Daily Beast<\/em><\/a> reported that King Charles III<\/strong> would not \u201cwant to open a new front in the civil war\u201d between the family and the couple, according to a friend of the monarch.<\/p>\n William, 42, will continue to \u201crespect his father\u2019s rank\u201d and follow his lead, according to pals, who added that when the Prince of Wales ascends to the throne, Harry and Meghan could be \u201cmore harshly dealt with.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t think we\u2019ll see any formal action from the King, William, or the Palace,\u201d royal commentator Jennie Bond<\/strong> told In Touch<\/em><\/a> on May 1, about the HRH title use.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s really not worth the row and ill-feeling it would cause. But I do think it\u2019s rather crass and pompous of Meghan,\u201d Jennie explained about the California native\u2019s use of HRH five years after stepping away from the royal family.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t want to be part of the pile on \u2026 but you really shouldn\u2019t try to bake your cake and eat it! She turned her back on royal life \u2026 she now says she and Harry were \u2018in the trenches\u2019 within six months of meeting \u2026 so it really does beg the question: why does she want to cling on to any vestige of a life she so clearly despised?\u201d Jennie wondered. \u201cI thought America was all about equality \u2026 so why try to be superior?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
