Sky<\/a> in Mat 2023 following two years of the couple dating.<\/p>\nShe told People about their decision to bring up their boy themselves: \u201cWe tried to have a nanny for six weeks, and it just wasn\u2019t for us.\u201d<\/p>\n
But Jessie added about getting help around the house: \u201cWe probably will at some point because we can\u2019t physically do it on our own. But my mum (Rose Cornish) is really heavily involved as well.\u201d<\/p>\n
Jessie, whose last album \u2018R.O.S.E.\u2019 was released in 2017, is currently preparing a musical comeback with two new singles \u2013 \u2018No Secrets\u2019 and \u2018Living My Best Life\u2019. <\/p>\n
\nHer mum Rose has been helping care for Sky while Jessie juggles motherhood and music. <\/p>\n
\nThe performer said: \u201cShe\u2019s here now because I\u2019m so busy, but it\u2019s just been me and (Chanan) from day one. And we\u2019re figuring it out.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nJessie also described the routines they have built as parents. <\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cOne of us gets up in the morning. Sometimes I get up at 5:00, and I\u2019ll batch-cook food for the next few days and put it in the freezer so that he\u2019s got fresh food. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cWe\u2019re a really good team.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nDespite returning to work to make music, Jessie said her son Sky often joins her in the studio. <\/p>\n
\nShe added: \u201cI\u2019m holding him while I\u2019m recording it, and he\u2019s not a light boy, so I\u2019m just trying to hold him, singing this really big song.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cHe\u2019s the best, man. He\u2019s so smart. I love him so much.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nJessie also said she and Chanan often reflect together on their new life as parents, adding: \u201cWe\u2019re just holding each other\u2019s hands and figuring it out as we go. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cMe and Chanan have a good laugh every night about all the things that we\u2019re doing.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nJessie added Sky, now a one-year-old, is already hitting big milestones. <\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cHe started to talk in sentences, which is wild for his age, but he\u2019s very advanced in his speech. \u201cHe knows all of our names. So he goes, \u2018Mummy\u2019s Jess,\u2019 and like, \u2018Daddy Chanan\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n
