It means something to me. And I think this is one of the most important things I\u2019ve ever done,\u201d Kody said in a confessional through tears \u201cIt\u2019s the last ode to my boy. \u2026 This is my duty, my job.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2024\/05\/garrison-brown-cause-of-death\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Garrison died by suicide<\/a> in March of 2024. He was 25 years old.<\/p>\n<p>Once the task was finished at the cemetary, a very sad Kody pulled out three chairs and sat next to the burial site, taking in the sunset. <\/p>\n<p>The following day, Kody\u2019s family joined him for a funeral. It\u2019s not a fundamentalist Mormon thing,\u201d Kody told viewers. \u201cThis funeral is not cookie cutter by any means. He was my arch nemesis and my best friend and beloved brother,\u201d he said with a laugh. \u201cGarrison was my first commissioned officer, and this was my hat that I got my first salute from Garrison in.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Previously, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2025\/05\/kody-brown-i-have-anxiety-attacks-over-death-of-my-son\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kody opened up about the loss<\/a> of his child.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGrief hits you in waves.
