(Photo by Rodin Eckenroth\/Getty Images)<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\nChrissy Teigen says she\u2019s no longer sober<\/h2>\n Teigen made the revelation on Instagram while promoting the most recent episode of her podcast, on which she interviewed addiction expert Holly Whitaker.<\/p>\n
\u201cHolly Whitaker changed my life, changed my perspective and changed how I view the f\u2014ing beast that is alcohol,\u201d Chrissy wrote, alongside a photo of herself holding Whitaker\u2019s book.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut to have to admit to all of you that I let it back into my life\u2026to let a lot of you down, oh I feel it deeply,\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n
\u201cI was so proud every time one of you told me on the street that Holly and I made you want to rethink drinking, reframe drinking. I still am.\u201d<\/p>\n
Chrissy went on to explain that she intends to \u201cbe mindful\u201d about her drinking going forward.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe truth is, I don\u2019t know what I\u2019m doing. I one hundred percent know I like me better sober. I one hundred percent know I get more done, I absolutely feel better in my body without it,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd I am one hundred percent pissed that I can\u2019t be normal and have a cocktail with my husband on vacay without it turning into 8 and feeling like s\u2013t.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI hate that the thought of maybe having a drink can consume me some days,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n
\u201cSo your rational mind is probably like \u201cOK THEN STOP, B\u2014!\u201d and god, do I f\u2014ing AGREE!\u201d<\/p>\n
She went on to say that she\u2019s capable of having a good time without alcohol, and she believes that she\u2019s currently in a good place with her drinking.<\/p>\n
\u201cI can go to a concert sober and have the greatest time ever. \u201cThank you for allowing me to figure it out openly in front of you all. Anyhow. This is for all the people who are figuring it out. And to the sober community, god I am still so, so proud of you. Until we meet again.\u201d<\/p>\n
Chrissy and husband John Legend have had a difficult year, as they were forced, along with their four children, to evacuate during the Los Angeles wildfires<\/a>.<\/p>\nThey remain firm in their commitment to one another, however.<\/p>\n
\u201cAlways proud of you,\u201d John commented on Chrissy\u2019s post about her drinking.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
