\t\t<\/p>\n Sarah Silverman<\/strong><\/a> is expressing gratitude for Conan O\u2019Brien<\/strong><\/a>. <\/p>\n If you didn\u2019t know, the 54-year-old comedian was a writer and cast member on Saturday Night Live<\/strong><\/a><\/em> in 1993, but got fired by Lorne Michaels<\/strong><\/a> after one season due to lack of experience. <\/p>\n \u201cI was totally thrown for a loop when I was fired, because it never occurred to me that was possible. I got a call from my agents and managers, like you know when they call you together it\u2019s either great news or terrible news.
