Using the Reels function (we know that Instagram\u2019s desperate attempt to emulate TikTok is cringe, but it\u2019s totally appropriate for a mom to use), she showed herself and her son, Gabe Brown.<\/p>\n
She and the 21-year-old were in the process of connecting her RV (really a five-wheeler, but \u2026 conceptually similar).<\/p>\n\u201cSo I came to hook up my trailer,\u201d Janelle Brown shared in a Reel post. (Image Credit: Instagram)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\nWhy was this a big deal? Because, for years, Kody would help her connect her trailer.<\/p>\n
This was her first time doing it without Kody. It was a bit of a fresh start, complete with a learning curve \u2014 and some mother-son laughs along the way.<\/p>\n
\u201cI came up to hook up my trailer,\u201d Janelle narrated during the Wednesday, May 3 video. <\/p>\nDuring his mother\u2019s Reel video, 21-year-old Gabriel Brown was in good spirits while he helped out. (Image Credit: Instagram)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\nShe admitted that she and Gabe were \u201clearning a lot about power adapters connecting your trailer to the power.\u201d<\/p>\n
Janelle pointed out how setting up the mobile home is about figuring it out.\u201d True!<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd not getting defeated and just getting it done,\u201d Janelle described.<\/p>\nJanelle Brown used a Reel post to talk about \u201cfiguring it out,\u201d which applies to many parts of starting over. She and Gabe discussed how anyone else who might spot them clearly puzzling over this also had their own first time doing this. No one is perfect the first time.<\/p>\n
\u201cEveryone has to start at the beginning! With the basics,\u201d Janelle went on.<\/p>\nOn her Reel, Janelle Brown stressed the importance of \u201cnot getting defeated and just getting it done.\u201d (Image Credit: Instagram)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\u201cWhen I was in the RV last time we were boon-docking so everything,\u201d Janelle recalled.<\/p>\n
So she remarked that \u201ceven hooking up this trailer to \u2018hook-ups\u2019 is new.\u201d<\/p>\n
That isn\u2019t easy for an admitted \u201cperfectionist,\u201d but she had to accept that her first RV hookup might not go so smoothly.<\/p>\nAt the end of her encouraging Reel, Janelle Brown smiled in the outdoor sunlight. She\u2019s going to be just fine. She then affirmed: \u201cIt\u2019s OK to be vulnerable, coachable, teachable, and curious..\u201d True!<\/p>\n
Finally, Janelle concluded: \u201cSome day I\u2019ll have this down and can be \u2018the expert.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
