Bella Hadid<\/strong><\/a> broke her silence on rumors that she had a face-lift or plastic surgery<\/a> done on her eyes in a stunning makeup-free video.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey always laugh. People think I\u2019ve gotten a face-lift or gotten that cat-eye thing, whatever it\u2019s called,\u201d Bella, 28, said in an Instagram makeup tutorial video<\/a> posted by British Vogue<\/em> on Tuesday, May 13.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut I\u2019m going to teach you an easier way,\u201d Bella continued about\u200b how to get the same look without going under the knife while showing fans her beauty routine and how to go from day to night.<\/p>\n

Cat-eye surgery is known as canthoplasty, where the outer edge of the eye is lifted upwards to create a cat-like appearance. It\u2019s also been referred to as fox eye surgery, which also mimics the namesake animal\u2019s look but offers a more subtle result.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is going to be insane cause I have no hair stuff with me,\u201d she joked while attempting to pull her brunette locks back as tight as possible. Within 60 seconds she got a \u201csnatcheroo\u201d by having her skin face tightened thanks to the slick bun on the back of her head.<\/p>\n

\u201cBelinda is my alter ego, she slays for me during the day. When I get home, Bella again,\u201d the California native said of who she is in public vs. her private life.<\/p>\n

The supermodel\u2019s natural complexation was on display, as she showed off her freckles in her no makeup look. Bella then began applying a brow pencil she took from sister Gigi Hadid<\/strong>, who is a Maybelline spokeswoman.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s so nice having a sister who has so much cool stuff I can steal,\u201d she joked.<\/p>\n

While she was having fun about the eye surgery speculation, Bella has been open about having a nose job at 14 years old and how she regretted it.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wish I had kept the nose of my ancestors,\u201d she told Vogue<\/em><\/a> in the magazine\u2019s April 2022 issue. \u201cI think I would have grown into it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bella then went on to fire back at other plastic surgery speculation.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople think I fully f\u2013ked with my face because of one picture of me as a teenager looking puffy. I\u2019m pretty sure you don\u2019t look the same now as you did at 13, right? I have never used filler. Let\u2019s just put an end to that. I have no issue with it, but it\u2019s not for me,\u201d the runway queen explained.<\/p>\n

Bella also addressed eye work, as she\u2019s been the subject of cat-eye surgery in the past.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhoever thinks I\u2019ve gotten my eyes lifted or whatever it\u2019s called \u2014 it\u2019s face tape! The oldest trick in the book,\u201d she told the outlet.<\/p>\n

Bella went on to explain more insecurities, especially growing up in the shadow of Gigi, 30.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was the uglier sister. I was the brunette. I wasn\u2019t as cool as Gigi, not as outgoing,\u201d she recalled to the publication. \u201cThat\u2019s really what people said about me. And unfortunately when you get told things so many times, you do just believe it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI always ask myself, how did a girl with incredible insecurities, anxiety, depression, body-image issues, eating issues, who hates to be touched, who has intense social anxiety \u2014 what was I doing getting into this business? But over the years I became a good actress,\u201d Bella revealed, while going on to say she earned respect through her work ethic.<\/p>\n

\u201cI put on a very smiley face, or a very strong face. I always felt like I had something to prove. People can say anything about how I look, about how I talk, about how I act. But in seven years I never missed a job, canceled a job, was late to a job. No one can ever say that I don\u2019t work my ass off,\u201d she added at the time.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
