18 years.<\/p>\n<p>It appears to be a rough time in the actor\u2019s personal life.<\/p>\n<p>Now, meanwhile, we can confirm that the veteran star is also going through a split in his personal life.<\/p>\n<p>On Friday, Paramount announced that Yellowstone will end its five-year run after it returns in November and then airs its final set of episodes.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image creator Taylor Sheridan over just how many days he wants to work.<\/p>\n<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2023\/02\/kevin-costner-slams-report-that-hes-holding-up-yellowstone-season-5\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">rep for Costner denied<\/a> that his client was refusing to remain on set for more than a week at a time, attempting to shoot down the speculation as follows:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe idea that Kevin was only willing to work one week on the second half of season 5 of Yellowstone is an absolute lie,\u201d this statement read.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s ridiculous \u2014 and anyone suggesting it shouldn\u2019t be believed for one second.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs everyone who knows anything about Kevin is well aware, he is incredibly passionate about the show and has always gone way above and beyond to ensure its know for certain if the Costner controversy led to the cancelation of Yellowstone, but Chris McCarthy, president and CEO Showtime\/MTV Entertainment Studios, said on Friday:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYellowstone has been the cornerstone on which we have launched an entire universe of global hits \u2014 from 1883 to Tulsa King. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am confident our Yellowstone sequel will be another big hit, thanks to the brilliant creative mind of Taylor Sheridan and our incredible casts who bring these shows to life.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><noscript><img rel=\"noopener\">Yellowstone sequel will feature Matthew McConaughy<\/a> in the lead role.<\/p>\n<p>But this has not yet been confirmed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Dutton story continues, picking up where Yellowstone debuted in June 2018.<\/p>\n<p>It seems notable that he wasn\u2019t mentioned at all in today\u2019s press release.<\/p>\n<p>News of the show\u2019s conclusion comes just a few days after Costner\u2019s wife, Christine Baumgartner, filed for divorce after 18 years of marriage. <\/p>\n<p>There was even chatter online that she did so because Costner got a staffer on set pregnant, but
