Southern Hospitality<\/em><\/a> stars Emmy Sharrett<\/strong> and Will Kulp<\/strong> are engaged \u2014 quieting haters and surprising fans.<\/p>\n

The couple announced the big news via Instagram<\/a> on Friday, May 9, sharing photos from the romantic proposal that took place on Monday, May 5.<\/p>\n

Will, 31, popped the question while he and Emmy, 27, were on vacation just outside of Saint Tropez, France, at the Lily of the Valley Hotel, according to People<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe is my best friend and soulmate,\u201d Emmy gushed to the outlet of her now-fianc\u00e9. \u201cI love that we get to spend the rest of our lives together.\u201d<\/p>\n

Will and Emmy are set to celebrate four years together this October<\/a> after meeting at an F45 gym in Charleston, South Carolina. Will was Emmy\u2019s trainer when they met, and they later became coworkers at Republic Garden & Lounge, which is how fans were introduced to them during season 1 of Southern Hospitality<\/em> in 2022.<\/p>\n

When the show premiered, Emmy was a VIP hostess at the nightclub run by Southern Charm<\/em><\/a>\u2019s Leva Bonaparte<\/strong> and Will was a bartender, preparing to go to law school.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tCharles Sykes\/Bravo Emmy Sharrett and Will Kulp have been making headlines \u2014 and defending their relationship \u2014 since becoming reality stars. The couple began dating one year before they made their reality TV debut in November 2022 on Southern Hospitality. At the time, Sharrett was a server at Leva Bonaparte\u2019s Republic Garden & Lounge while [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

During their time on reality TV, Emmy and Will\u2019s relationship<\/a> has come under fire after the University of South Carolina law student was accused of infidelity. During season 2 of the series, Will was accused of kissing another woman but denied the allegations.<\/p>\n

The couple faced similar claims during season 3<\/a>, after Will allegedly hooked up with someone in a bathroom at law prom. Despite all the criticism, Emmy was adamant that Will was \u201c110 percent\u201d faithful to her.<\/p>\n

\u201cI do not believe Will cheated on me at all for one second,\u201d Emmy exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em><\/a> in January after being confronted on screen about the alleged infidelity.<\/p>\n

While Will refused to speak about the cheating rumors on multiple occasions, he did take responsibility for speaking negatively about Emmy at Republic. (Will, however, chose to skip the season 3 reunion<\/a> in February, leaving Emmy alone<\/a> to defend their romance.)<\/p>\n

\u201cWill and I had our own conversation about it where he was incredibly apologetic and embarrassed, and he knew it was inappropriate,\u201d Emmy explained to Us<\/em> earlier this year.<\/p>\n
