Ben Affleck<\/strong> <\/a>has a sense of humor about his love life in the wake of his split from Jennifer Lopez.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The actor, 52, was approached by TMZ<\/em> <\/a>while out for dinner at Lavo Ristorante in West Hollywood on Thursday, May 8 and was asked how \u201cHollywood\u2019s most eligible bachelor\u201d was feeling in Spanish.<\/p>\n

Taking the comment in his stride, Affleck laughed off the question and replied in Spanish, \u201cMuy bien,\u201d which translates to \u201cvery good.\u201d<\/p>\n

The outlet then asked Affleck: \u201cDo you still like Latinas?\u201d Affleck didn\u2019t hesitate when replying, \u201cOf course I do.\u201d<\/p>\n

Affleck is fluent in Spanish after picking up the language while filming a children\u2019s TV show in Mexico for a year when he was 13. His ex-wife Lopez, 55, is one of the most prominent Latin-American singers and actresses in Hollywood.<\/p>\n

Lopez filed for a dissolution of marriage<\/a> from Affleck on August 20, 2024. The former couple finalized the divorce in January<\/a> this year, according to documents obtained by Us Weekly<\/em> at the time.<\/p>\n

Lopez and Affleck were linked<\/a> for more than 20 years. The actors met on the set of Gigli<\/em> in 2001, before becoming engaged in November 2002. They were initially scheduled to get married in September 2003, but they called off their wedding days before the planned ceremony. They confirmed their split in January 2004.<\/p>\n

Decades later, Lopez and Affleck found their way back to one another in May 2021 and became engaged for the second time in April 2022. They married in Las Vegas in July 2022 and also had a second ceremony in Georgia the following month.<\/p>\n

Affleck recently broke his silence on his split with Lopez in an interview with GQ<\/em> magazine that was published on March 25.<\/p>\n

During the interview, the Hypnotic<\/em> actor referenced The Greatest Love Story Never Told<\/em>, the documentary he filmed with Lopez during their marriage that shed light on their relationship. Affleck said it was \u201cimportant to say\u201d that there wasn\u2019t \u201csome major fracture\u201d in his and Lopez\u2019s marriage that exists in the documentary.<\/p>\n
