Roses for one! Carly Waddell<\/strong><\/a> got real about her dating life \u2014 and how hard she\u2019s working to meet a new man \u2014 after her split from Evan Bass<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cI have this fantasy that one day I\u2019m just gonna be out walking around and I\u2019m gonna meet this, like, wonderful man and he is just going to wow me,\u201d Waddell, 37, exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em> on the \u201cHere for the Right Reasons<\/a>\u201d podcast. \u201cThat\u2019s in my brain. I\u2019m manifesting that for myself.\u201d<\/p>\n The \u201cYour Friends Like Me More\u201d singer, who announced her divorce from Bass, 40, in December 2020<\/a>, confessed that she hasn\u2019t really started to see other people.<\/p>\n When it comes to dating apps<\/a>, the Texas native told Us<\/em>, \u201cI don\u2019t know if it\u2019s that I\u2019m not ready or that I just don\u2019t have the time or energy. I\u2019m not quite sure what my reasoning is.\u201d<\/p>\n The Bachelor<\/em> alum, who started releasing new music in May<\/a>, explained she\u2019s been \u201cso focused on putting all this stuff together\u201d the past two years \u2014 including juggling her and Bass\u2019 two children<\/a> \u2014 that she hasn\u2019t had time to go out on the town. (The estranged couple share daughter Bella, 5, and son Charlie, 3<\/a>. Bass also has three sons from a past relationship.)<\/p>\n \u201cI could get a babysitter, but I don\u2019t care right now,\u201d Waddell told Us<\/em>, revealing that she has the little ones 80 percent of the time. \u201cMaybe when someone walks into my life, then I\u2019ll start caring. But right now, I don\u2019t know. Whatever. I\u2019m good alone. I\u2019m like actually doing pretty good.\u201d<\/p>\n The TV personality, who met her estranged husband on season 3 of Bachelor in Paradise<\/em><\/a> in 2016, further explained that she is \u201cnervous\u201d about shaking up her life again with the addition of a new man.<\/p>\n \u201cWe have such a good thing going on now that someone stepping in and, like, changing the way that we do life makes me really a little bit nervous now,\u201d she said. \u201cI don\u2019t know how comfortable I am with that idea.\u201d<\/p>\n While Waddell isn\u2019t jumping into a new romance just yet, she is happy with her and Bass\u2019 relationship these days<\/a>. The pair, who were married three years before calling it quits, are at ease with their coparenting schedule.<\/p>\n \u201cThey go over there every other weekend. And I remember at first I was like, \u2018Oh my gosh, like, what are they doing over there?\u2019 But now I\u2019m just like, \u2018He\u2019s got it,\u2019\u201d the \u201cDream Train\u201d singer told Us<\/em>. \u201cIf there\u2019s ever a problem, like, a sickness or something, we talk about it and we work it out. But it\u2019s not a problem. It\u2019s very easy.\u201d<\/p>\n The Bachelor Nation star\u2019s newfound balance with the Tennessee native has also allowed her more time to work on her music<\/a>. Waddell released \u201cYour Friends Like Me More<\/a>\u201d on Monday, May 1, and will continue to drop five more tracks in the new few months. (The second song, \u201cTwo Little Angels,\u201d comes out on Friday, May 12.)<\/p>\n \u201cThis has been, like, [a] third baby for [me] the past two and a half years,\u201d she said of the EP. \u201cI\u2019m super stoked. It\u2019s [a] super fun one. I have a bunch of really fun \u2014 I call them, like, women empowerment, fun songs.\u201d<\/p>\n The artist called her first new song a \u201cbanger\u201d noting that \u201cit\u2019s so fun\u201d and \u201csuper relatable.\u201d Waddell, however, insisted that the tune is not about Bass despite their recent breakup<\/a>.<\/p>\n
