\t\t<\/p>\n Rondell Sheridan<\/strong><\/a> is sharing an upsetting health update.<\/p>\n On Wednesday (May 7), the 66-year-old actor, best known for playing Raven-Symon\u00e9<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s dad Victor Baxter on That\u2019s So Raven<\/strong><\/a><\/em>, shared a video on Instagram<\/a> from his hospital bed, revealing that he was diagnosed with severe pancreatitis nearly a month ago.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span>\u201cOn April 10th, I was on the road and got sick. Went to the hospital and they thought it was gastric. I got home on the 12th and immediately went to the hospital at North Ridge and was told it\u2019s pancreatitis,\u201d Rondell<\/strong> said, while wincing in pain. \u201cTons of tests. I was in the hospital for nine days. I got released and thought I was on the road to recovery but\u2026 my pancreas is inflamed and there\u2019s not much you can do about it but just wait.\u201d <\/p>\n Pancreatitis is the inflammation of the pancreas and can cause symptoms like pain in the upper belly that radiates to the back, fever, rapid pulse, upset stomach, vomiting and more, according to the Cleveland Clinic<\/a>.<\/p>\n In the video, Rondell<\/strong> said that he hasn\u2019t been able to work due to his hospitalization and has created an GoFundMe<\/a> account to help cover medical expenses. So far, the page has raised over $49,000.<\/p>\n \u201cI didn\u2019t realize I was going to be, and will be, out of work for quite some time,\u201d the Disney Channel alum continued. \u201cI\u2019m setting up this GoFundMe to help with some of my medical bills and just expenses.
