\t\t<\/p>\n Nicole Kidman<\/strong><\/a> shocked everyone by debuting a new short hairdo at the 2025 Met Gala<\/strong><\/a><\/em>, but there\u2019s a good chance that she\u2019s actually just wearing a wig.<\/p>\n The Oscar-winning actress debuted a new pixie cut on the red carpet at fashion\u2019s biggest night on Monday evening (May 5) at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.<\/p>\n Nicole <\/strong>is known for wearing wigs in her movies and TV shows, reportedly to protect her natural hair, so it would make sense that she wore one for this transformative red carpet appearance.<\/p>\n The Met Gala focused on menswear and suiting this year with a \u201cTailored for You\u201d dress code. The event celebrated the opening of the museum\u2019s new exhibition \u201cSuperfine: Tailoring Black Style,\u201d which draws inspiration from Monica L. Miller\u2019s 2009 book Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity<\/em>.
