Brandi Glanville<\/a> has found getting back to work has had a huge “positive” impact on her health.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
Brandi Glanville has teamed up with RIP Youth and Becks<\/p>\n
The 52-year-old reality star – who has been trying to deal with an undisclosed medical condition that has caused facial disfiguration for nearly two years – has teamed up with RIP Youth and Beks on new single ‘Remedy’ and she’s delighted to be doing something she loves again.<\/p>\n
She told BANG Showbiz: “Getting back to work has had such a positive affect on both my mental and even my physical health during these hard times.<\/p>\n
“I’m looking forward to traveling again to promote and perform ‘Remedy’ with people I adore. Everyone who was involved in this song is awesome.”<\/p>\n
The former ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ star thinks the entertainment music brings people is much healthier than reality TV.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: “It\u2019s such a nice feeling to bring joy to people with this music ‘Remedy’, like with my books. It\u2019\u2019s a positive change in comparison to ‘Real Housewives’.”<\/p>\n
\nAnd Brandi loves having “control” of her own narrative through music, instead of being at the mercy of an editing team.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: “Unlike reality TV that fell into my lap – although I did enjoy some of it – doing this song ‘Remedy’ was completely my choice and such a creative pleasure .<\/p>\n
\n“I can breathe when I’m doing music because I get to write and deliver my own narrative. I don\u2019t have to worry about being edited badly or what false story will be pitched. I love LOVE and control.”<\/p>\n
\nMeanwhile, RIP Youth – whose real name is James Maas – thinks his close friendship with Brandi contributed to making the song what it is.<\/p>\n
\nHe said: “I think the song has come together so well because we\u2019ve been friends for a while and really feel comfortable enough to try new things out with eachother, weve both seen each-other at our worst. <\/p>\n
\n“I’ve seen Brandi at her lowest lows and shes seen me thought mine so that really lifted the veil on who we really are and quickly brought us to a place of honesty and respect. <\/p>\n
\n“There\u2019s also a trust factor, she knows I’ve been making music for a long time so I would tell her when something was off and she would trust my opinion but honestly Brandi is a great writer so she didn\u2019t need much help in that department.”<\/p>\n
