\t\t<\/p>\n Donald Trump<\/strong><\/a> is addressing if he\u2019ll be running for office for a third term as President of the United States. <\/p>\n The 78-year-old has previously suggested that he would<\/a> be trying to serve a third term, despite the constitution stating that a President can be elected into office twice, serving only two, four year terms. <\/p>\n In a new interview on NBC\u2019s Meet the Press<\/em>, Trump <\/strong>acknowledged the limitations preventing him from seeking a third term and revealed who he thinks could lead the Republican party after him. <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cSo many people want me to do it. I have never requests so strong as that, but it\u2019s something that to the best of my knowledge, you\u2019re not allowed to do,\u201d he told moderator Kristen Welker<\/strong> in the interview. \u201cI don\u2019t know if that\u2019s constitutional that they\u2019re not allowing you to do it or anything else, but there are many people selling the 2028 hat\u2026 This is not something I\u2019m looking to do.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m looking to have four great years and turn it over to somebody, ideally a great Republican, a great Republican to carry it forward,\u201d Trump <\/strong>continued. \u201cI think we\u2019re gonna have four years, and I think four years is plenty of time to do something really spectacular.\u201d<\/p>\n When asked if the MAGA movement could continue without him as the leader, he said it could and offered names of who could lead it next. <\/p>\n \u201cI think it\u2019s so strong and I think we have tremendous people. I think we have a tremendous group of people\u2026 You look at Marco [Rubio]<\/strong><\/a>, you look at JD Vance<\/strong><\/a>, who\u2019s fantastic. You look at, I could name 10, 15, 20 people right now just sitting here,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n \n
