\t\t<\/p>\n Running influencer Kate Mackz<\/strong><\/a> has faced intense backlash for her new video with Trump<\/strong>\u2018s press secretary Karoline Leavitt<\/strong><\/a> and now Tim Walz<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s daughter Hope Walz<\/strong><\/a> is slamming her too.<\/p>\n Kate<\/strong> is known for her videos where she interviews famous people while jogging, with recent videos including Patrick Schwarzenegger<\/strong><\/a> and Julianne Hough<\/strong><\/a>. Back in October, she released a video with Vice Presidential candidate Tim Walz<\/strong> just weeks before the election.<\/p>\n This week, Kate <\/strong>dropped a video that she filmed at the White House with Karoline <\/strong>and there\u2019s no running involved in the video at all. <\/p>\n Kate<\/strong>\u2018s fans have been disappointed at her for giving a platform to the Trump <\/strong>administration to normalize the way they\u2019re running the country. All the while, Kate <\/strong>has still kept her Tim Walz<\/strong> video as her top-pinned video.<\/p>\n Hope <\/strong>slammed her for this.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cRunning as an act is political,\u201d Hope <\/strong>said in a video on her account. \u201cAnd you know who taught me that? Tim Walz<\/strong>. The first thing he told me when I was first getting into it in high school was that running is a privilege. Whether you do it recreationally, race competitively, or participate at an elite level, it is a privilege. You need time. You need the right gear. You need a healthy mental state. You need a safe, stable environment. And not everyone has that.\u201d<\/p>\n Hope <\/strong>also brought up the policies that the Trump <\/strong>administration has been pushing, including reducing mental health support and cutting climate change funding. \u201cAll of those things are preventing people from getting into the running community, which is what I thought Kate<\/strong>\u2019s platform was for,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n She added, \u201cWe should not be normalizing these people. I\u2019m not going to tell anyone what to do with their page, but I think it is insulting to my dad to leave a certain video pinned, especially when he stands for quite literally the opposite of what this administration is doing.
