affair between Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss<\/a>.<\/p>\nWord traveled fast \u2014 very fast \u2014 and the public\u2019s shock over the Scandoval continues to this day.<\/p>\n
But it seems that the cast might not have been quite as surprised as the rest of us.<\/p>\n
We say that because last night\u2019s episode of Vanderpump Rules<\/em> \u2014 which was shot in mid-September of last year \u2014 was absolutely loaded<\/em> with clues that Tom and Raquel were banging, and Sandoval\u2019s attempts to cover them up were hilariously inept.<\/p>\n<\/noscript>The current season of Vanderpump Rules has been terrible for Sandoval\u2019s reputation. Sandoval gleefully singing Raquel\u2019s praises during her birthday glamping trip while Ariana looks on and smiles?<\/p>\n
Yeah, we hope Tom enjoyed that \u201cnice guy\u201d reputation while he had it, because that sh-t is long gone now.<\/p>\nTom Sandoval is not very popular with his co-stars these days. Sure, Ally Lewber had already spotted Tom and Raquel dancing at the Abbey, and Katie half-heartedly called Sandoval out at Lala\u2019s birthday, but even she didn\u2019t seem to believe there was really anything going on.<\/p>\n
This week, however, we have Ken freakin\u2019 Todd \u2014 who usually couldn\u2019t care less about the drama surrounding his wife\u2019s hangers-on \u2014 eagerly calling Sandoval out for having Raquel over while Ariana was in Florida for her grandmother\u2019s funeral.<\/p>\nTom Sandoval gleefully lied about his affair with Raquel Leviss. (Photo via Bravo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\nAs if the news that Sandoval saw his girlfriend\u2019s grief as an opportunity to bang his side-piece wasn\u2019t bad enough, the episode also contained the revelation that Tom stayed out partying after he first learned of the death of Ariana\u2019s grandmother.<\/p>\n
This news came to us courtesy of Lala Kent, who clearly decided long ago that she really, really doesn\u2019t like Sandoval.<\/p>\n
Confronted with the allegation during a party for Kristina Kelly\u2019s skincare line, Tom resorted to the Lebowski-esque mumblebro excuse-making that he seems to think is charming.<\/p>\nTom Sandoval\u2019s lies are beginning to unravel. (Photo via Bravo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\u201cI found out that my grandma died while you were there \u2014 you knew about that and then Jason (Sandoval\u2019s ride home) said, \u2018I\u2019m gonna leave,\u2019 and then you said, \u2018I\u2019m gonna stay?\u2019\u201d an angry Ariana asked Tom.<\/p>\n
\u201cWell yeah, I kind of figured that you\u2019d wanna be alone,\u201d Sandoval rather lamely replied.<\/p>\n

\u201cI get it, Katie hates Raquel, but Raquel\u2019s my friend, and she\u2019s someone who is kind and sweet and loyal and just a delight since the day I met her,\u201d Ariana said in a confessional.<\/p>\n
We can\u2019t wait to contrast that quote with Ariana\u2019s comments about Raquel during the upcoming Vanderpump<\/em> reunion.<\/p>\nSomething tells us she\u2019s had a change of heart!<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
