Hayden Panettiere<\/a> has admitted her unplanned four-year hiatus from acting was “desperately needed”.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
Hayden Panettiere has spoken out on how important her four-year break from acting was for her personal and professional growth<\/p>\n
The 35-year-old actress took a well-earned rest following the conclusion of her ABC series ‘Nashville’ in 2018, before reprising her role as Kirby Reed in 2023 slasher movie ‘Scream VI’.<\/p>\n
And she has revealed it was an unexpected break but she benefited massively from stepping back, and as a result, feels “much more solid and grounded” in “this crazy world”.<\/p>\n
She reflected in an interview with Us Weekly: \u201cI had taken four years off. Didn\u2019t know or plan to, but that\u2019s just the way it panned out. <\/p>\n
\u201cAnd I desperately needed it.\u201d<\/p>\n
\n\u201cThe things that I\u2019ve done before \u2026 it was just different enough that I felt like it was a blank canvas that I could paint onto anything I wanted on.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cAnd now try to take my career in a direction that I wasn\u2019t able to go in before.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nIt gave Hayden the chance to switch things up in her career.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cThe things that I\u2019ve done before \u2026 it was just different enough that I felt like it was a blank canvas that I could paint onto anything I wanted on.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cAnd now try to take my career in a direction that I wasn\u2019t able to go in before.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nHayden loves to “keeping reinventing” herself and has never felt more confident in her own skin before.<\/p>\n
\nShe added: \u201cI feel much more solid and grounded in this world, the crazy world that we live in.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cIt\u2019s healthy to continue to keep evolving as a person. Which I always try to do to keep reinventing ourselves and learning more things about ourselves and our wants and needs and dislikes and all the above.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cBut I\u2019ve never been this version of me, I\u2019ve never been as OK with being who I am without feeling the need to apologise for anything. I feel like I\u2019ve finally earned the right to an opinion.\u201d<\/p>\n
