Karen Gillan<\/strong><\/a> was laser focused while filming Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3<\/em> <\/a>\u2014 and a forgotten therapy appointment left her in an awkward situation.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cIn honour of Guardians of the Galaxy<\/em> in theaters Friday, here\u2019s a screenshot of the time I forgot I had scheduled a COUPLES THERAPY session on a day we were shooting,\u201d the 35-year-old actress,\u00a0who plays Nebula in the film, tweeted on Wednesday, May 3.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The Selfie<\/em> alum reprised her role as the blue-toned cyborg for Volume 3 of James Gunn\u2019s<\/strong> <\/a>superhero trilogy, which premieres on Friday, May 3, alongside Chris Pratt<\/a>, Zoe Saldana<\/a>, Dave Bautista<\/a>, Sean Gunn<\/a>, Bradley Cooper<\/a>, Vin Diesel<\/a><\/strong> and Pom Klementieff<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The final installment will follow the gang \u2014 still reeling from the loss of Gamora (Saldana) \u2014 as they defend the universe and protect one of their own. For the Ireland native, who wrapped filming in May 2022, the simple act of getting into her costume \u2014 which includes prosthetics and black contact lenses \u2014 was a four-hour-long process.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThe prosthetics are tough,\u201d Gillan told the Daily Record<\/em> <\/a>in April 2019. \u201cEspecially when there\u2019s action that needs to be done. The worst part is that your sweat has nowhere to go under all that makeup and the costume, so sometimes, when they take it off, the sweat literally squirts out on people. \u201cI guess that makes it worse for them than it is for me but it\u2019s pretty embarrassing.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Gillan made her Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in the first Guardians<\/em> movie in 2014 and has appeared in seven of the franchise\u2019s films since. Off screen, the Bodies, Bodies, Bodies<\/em> actress has also been busy in her personal life, revealing earlier this year that she and Nick Kocher<\/strong> had secretly tied the knot<\/a> in May 2022.<\/p>\n \u201cLast May\u2026 \ud83d\udcf8 by\u00a0@hollyclarkphotography<\/span>,\u201d she wrote via Instagram in February alongside a series of images that included her in a wedding gown, bagpipe players and her bridesmaids.<\/p>\n Following the surprise social media upload, Gillan\u2019s photographer Holly Clark<\/strong> also posted a sweet snap<\/a> of the Avengers: Endgame<\/em> star before the nuptials, which took place at Castle Toward in Scotland.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cBeautiful\u00a0@karengillan<\/span>\u00a0on the morning of her wedding day.
