The Golden Bachelorette<\/span><\/i><\/a> star <\/span>Joan Vassos<\/b><\/a> reacts to the <\/span>Bachelor in Paradise<\/span><\/i><\/a> twist for season 10, exclusively telling Life & Style<\/em> that she expects it to be \u201creally interesting.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI love it. I think it\u2019s such a cool opportunity. I\u2019ve always been a huge fan of Paradise<\/em>. I feel like they have a lot of really good outcomes after Paradise<\/em>. A lot of couples, strong couples, have come off of there,\u201d Joan, 62, exclusively tells Life & Style<\/em> while promoting her role as an ambassador for PanCAN PurpleStride<\/a>. \u201cA lot of people that are married, a lot of kids have now come out of Paradise. So, it\u2019s kind of like your second [chance of] being on TV and dating.\u201d<\/p>\n After fans watched The Bachelor season 29 finale, host Jesse Palmer <\/b>announced that <\/span>Bachelor in Paradise<\/span><\/i> was coming back. In a surprising twist, the <\/span>new season will feature stars from both the original franchise<\/span><\/a>, as well as <\/span>The Golden Bachelor<\/span><\/i> and <\/span>The Golden Bachelorette<\/span><\/i>.<\/p>\n \u201cSome people do it better when they get there, and you also have a lot more opportunity to connect. There\u2019s a lot more downtime where you\u2019re together. It\u2019s not as arranged,\u201d Joan points out about how Bachelor in Paradise is different from the franchise\u2019s other shows. \u201cYou\u2019re not going on a date. You\u2019re, like, hanging out on the beach together.\u201d<\/p>\n After noting that she loves the \u201copportunity\u201d for her fellow Golden stars, she continues, \u201cI have been thinking that some of The Golden Bachelor<\/em> women and Golden Bachelorette<\/em> men would be good matches. It\u2019s hard to get everybody together. They\u2019re all over the country<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThis is finally the opportunity where people are going to meet each other. Some of them have met, but a lot of them haven\u2019t and I think it\u2019s going to be really good TV to watch because everybody\u2019s fallen in love with these people already,\u201d Joan says. \u201cI mean, the guys from my season, they were more popular than me. Everyone loved their stories<\/a> and same with the women from The Golden Bachelor<\/em>. People fell in love with them, so I think it\u2019s going to be great TV. I think it\u2019s going to be really interesting.\u201d<\/p>\n While Gary Levingston<\/strong> and Leslie Fhima<\/strong> have already been announced as some of the Golden stars on the season, Joan adds who else she would like to see on the show.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m close with a lot of the women from The Golden Bachelor<\/em>. That was part of the thing about being on that show, we all have so much in common. We kind of had our tribe. So, I don\u2019t think there\u2019s a single person from The Golden Bachelor<\/em> that I wouldn\u2019t think would be great on the show,\u201d Joan says. \u201cI feel the same way about the men from my season.\u201d<\/p>\n Joan adds that the men who competed on season 1 of The Golden Bachelorette<\/em> \u201copened up and grew a lot during the season.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThey said that they kind of had therapy sessions while they were in the mansion. I think that it gave them some confidence that a lot of them have paired off,\u201d Joan continues about the men on her season. \u201cThere are a lot of men from my season that have girlfriends now. Some of them have taken themselves out of the running to be on Paradise<\/em>, but whoever isn\u2019t dating anybody seriously, I think would be great on the show. I can\u2019t possibly pick one. They all deserve to be on it.\u201d<\/p>\n Joan adds that she\u2019s \u201ctried to do a little matchmaking already<\/a>\u201d with the stars of The Golden Bachelor<\/em> and The Golden Bachelorette<\/em>.<\/p>\n
