Jordon Hudson<\/strong><\/a> shared an email from her boyfriend, Bill Belichick<\/strong><\/a>, written ahead of his contentious interview on CBS over the weekend.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The concerned message was written by Belichick, 73, on April 10, weeks before the football coach\u2019s sit-down interview<\/a> with journalist Tony Dokoupil<\/strong> aired Sunday, April 27, on CBS Sunday Mornings<\/i>. During the interview, Hudson could be seen attempting to shut down questions<\/a> about how the couple initially met.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Belichick wrote about fearing how the \u201cmedia\u201d would handle the press tour for his new book, The Art of Winning<\/i>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThese appearances will, no doubt, want to focus on whatever negatives they can extract from the book, and all the current events that don\u2019t have anything to do with the book, but are most relevant to their \u2018ratings\u2019 and their agenda (which is not mine),\u201d the email read in part, which Hudson posted via her Instagram<\/a> on Tuesday, April 29.<\/span><\/p>\n

The former New England Patriots coach\u2019s girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, interrupted his sitdown with Tony Dokoupil on Sunday after the journalist asked Belichick how the couple met amid fervent interest over their 48-year age gap romance. The email specifically criticized an unnamed article about The Art of Winning<\/i>, which apparently zeroed in on Belichick\u2019s use of the phrase \u201cI f***ed up\u201d in the book.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThis is about what I expected from the media,\u201d the email stated. \u201cWe went through how important it was for me to put \u2018I f***ed up\u2019 in the book, and of course, that is the feature of this article \u2014 which is mostly about admitting mistakes and talking about a Super Bowl mistake. I am fine with putting mistakes in the book, but I am certainly not surprised that of 260+ pages, that is what they would highlight. And of course, the \u2018I f***ed up\u2019 is the click bait they used for the story.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The email continued, \u201cWe\u2019ll see what the title of the article is, which I noticed has been conveniently left out \u2014 do we have approval on that. I would approve this article if we can also approve the headline, which is actually more important than the article.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Belichick insisted he wanted the book to be \u201cpresented as a look at my professional life and how I did my job on the way up to, and as the leader of an organization that grew from a $500 m franchise to an $8 b organization.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
