\n\t\t<\/h3>\n<\/p><\/div>\n\n\t\t\tDuring the latest episode of Sister Wives, Kody Brown put the blame on Christine Brown and Janelle Brown for his issues with their respective kids. \u201cChristine and Janelle have kind [of] banded together with this whole thing,\u201d Kody, 54, claimed in the Sunday, September 17, episode of the TLC series. \u201c[They] basically shattered my whole [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
Aspyn is the eldest of Christine, 53, and Kody\u2019s six children<\/a>. The exes, who called it quits in November 2021 after more than 20 years together, also share son Paedon<\/strong>, 26, and daughters Mykelti<\/strong>, 28, Gwendlyn<\/strong>, 23, Ysabel<\/strong>, 21, and Truely<\/strong>, 15.<\/p>\n\u201cAspyn literally asked why I didn\u2019t like her,\u201d Kody told the cameras<\/a>. \u201cAnd I\u2019m like, \u2018Sweetheart, I love you. And I have, always have and always will.’\u201d<\/p>\nHe noted that after a \u201clong discussion\u201d he told Aspyn that he wanted to have \u201ca relationship not filtered through my view of her mother or her mother\u2019s view of me.\u201d<\/p>\n
Following Kody\u2019s split from Christine, who was the first of his wives to leave him<\/a>, he began distancing himself from his ex and their children. During Sunday\u2019s episode, Kody recalled why he needed space at the time.<\/p>\n\u201cWhat I explained to her was just, there\u2019s this place of pain that I didn\u2019t feel welcome to reach out to everybody,\u201d Kody explained, saying that Aspyn insisted she never purposely made him feel like he couldn\u2019t reach out. \u201cWhat has happened in my life has made me feel unwelcome.\u201d<\/p>\n
Kody told Robyn, 46, that the chat with Aspyn \u201cimproved\u201d their relationship immensely, but he was still confident that Christine was to blame for the strained bond her has with all their kids<\/a>. (Kody insinuated that second wife Janelle Brown<\/strong><\/a>, whom he separated from in December 2022, did the same thing with their six children.)<\/p>\n\u201cI got alienated from my children when the divorces happened,\u201d Kody claimed. \u201cI have an assumption that the exes just weren\u2019t protecting the privacy of the breakup at all. They\u2019re just like, \u2018Your dad\u2019s like this, your dad\u2019s like this, your dad\u2019s like this.\u2019 And so I had all this relationship struggle with all of my kids.\u201d<\/p>\n
As a result of Christine and Janelle\u2019s alleged meddling, Kody said, \u201cI\u2019m trying to establish this relationship where they\u2019re no longer having me represented to them by my ex-wives.\u201d<\/p>\n
While Kody is also separated from his first wife, Meri Brown<\/strong><\/a>, with whom he shares one child, Leon, he didn\u2019t appear to be speaking about her alienating him from their life.<\/p>\n\u201cWe haven\u2019t had a lot of connection,\u201d Kody said of his eldest children \u2014 he also shares three adopted kids and two biological children with Robyn \u2014 noting he was hopeful that would change.<\/p>\n
