\t\t<\/p>\n Helen Mirren<\/strong><\/a> and Pierce Brosnan<\/strong><\/a> are starring in another new project together!<\/p>\n Netflix<\/strong><\/a> just released first look photos for their upcoming new movie, The Thursday Murder Club<\/em><\/strong>, which is based on Richard Osman<\/strong>\u2018s bestselling novel of the same name. <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Here\u2019s a synopsis: The Thursday Murder Club<\/em> follows four irrepressible retirees \u2013 Elizabeth (Mirren<\/strong>), Ron (Brosnan<\/strong>), Ibrahim and Joyce \u2013 who spend their time solving cold case murders for fun. When an unexplained death occurs on their own doorstep, their casual sleuthing takes a thrilling turn as they find themselves with a real whodunit on their hands.<\/p>\n Also featured in the first look photos are their co-stars, Celia Imrie<\/strong><\/a> as Joyce, Sir Ben Kingsley<\/strong><\/a> as Ibrahim, Naomi Ackie<\/strong><\/a> and Henry Lloyd-Hughes<\/strong><\/a>. <\/p>\n \u201cThere was a sense of, \u2018Gosh, guys, isn\u2019t this amazing?\u2019\u201d Helen<\/strong> told People<\/a><\/em> of being on set of the movie. \u201c\u2018Here we all are again. How fantastic it is.\u2019 It was a very appropriate feeling for the piece as well, the way these people, these characters come together in all their idiosyncrasies.\u201d<\/p>\n She also shared that she manifested this role after reading the book years ago!<\/p>\n \u201cI sort of went, \u2018Oh, if they ever make a movie of it, I\u2019d love to play that role.\u2019 And I very, very rarely feel that, but I have to confess, I did feel that this time,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n The Thursday Murder Club<\/em> is directed by Chris Columbus<\/strong><\/a> and will debut on Netflix on August 28th!<\/p>\n You can also currently catch Helen<\/strong> and Pierce<\/strong> in the Paramount+ series Mobland<\/em><\/a>, alongside Tom Hardy<\/strong><\/a>.
