Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld got engaged in 2024<\/p>\n
The 28-year-old sports star got engaged to Hailee in 2024, and he’s heaped praise on the actress following her starring role in ‘Sinners’, the new horror movie.<\/p>\n
Speaking to reporters at the Buffalo Bills Team Activities training, Josh said: “I’m so excited for her and so proud of her.<\/p>\n
“It’s getting some great reviews and it’s a fantastic movie, so go watch it.”<\/p>\n
Josh is one of the best-known players in the NFL, but he’s happy to take a back seat to Hailee and her success.<\/p>\n
\nThe sports star shared: “I’m just there trying to support her in whatever way that I can.<\/p>\n
\n“That was her moment and I’m so glad she got to shine.”<\/p>\n
\nHailee recently claimed that she hasn’t had time to start planning her wedding.<\/p>\n
\nThe 28-year-old beauty has been busy promoting ‘Sinners’ over recent weeks, and her wedding plans have been forced to take a back seat.<\/p>\n
\nAsked about her wedding plans, Hailee told ‘Extra’: “We are in the middle of a press tour. We got a movie coming out in 12 days? Six, something. We’re focused on that.”<\/p>\n
\nHailee and Josh announced their engagement in November.<\/p>\n
\nThe celebrity couple shared a joint Instagram post which featured Josh down on one knee in front of the ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’ star, with the pair surrounded by an arch of pink and red flowers, with candles in front of them and the ocean behind.<\/p>\n
\nThe Instagram post was simply captioned with infinity signs and the apparent date of the proposal, November 22.<\/p>\n
\nHailee – who previously dated One Direction star Niall Horan – subsequently acknowledged that she felt very emotional about her engagement.<\/p>\n
\nThe ‘Hawkeye’ star said in her Beau Society newsletter: “All the happy tears have just barely dried. Whenever we tell the story, look back at photos, or even say ‘We’re engaged’ or ‘We’re getting married’ I start crying.”<\/p>\n
\nDespite this, Hailee was reluctant to reveal too many details about Josh’s proposal.<\/p>\n
\nShe explained: “While I can’t wait to tell you more about the day and things we’re planning, I’m not ready quite yet. I have to hold this close for a little while longer.”<\/p>\n
