Mackenzie McKee<\/strong><\/a><\/span> is finding a special way to make sure her late mom, Angie Douthit<\/strong>, is part of her pregnancy.<\/p>\n

During the Thursday, April 24, episode of Teen Mom: The Next Chapter<\/i><\/span><\/a>, Mackenzie, 30, and her fianc\u00e9, Khesanio Hall<\/strong>, paid a visit to the cemetery where Angie rests to reveal they are expecting twins.<\/p>\n

\u201cPulling up to the grave, I thought, \u2018I\u2019m going to be fine. I\u2019m going to be strong. I\u2019m going to tell her that I\u2019m pregnant,\u2019\u201d Mackenzie said in a confessional interview. \u201cThen I just lost it. My mother was there every step of the way with all three pregnancies and it has been extremely, mentally tough to not even get to call her and tell her it\u2019s twins.\u201d<\/p>\n

On March 31, Mackenzie confirmed on The Drew Barrymore Show<\/i><\/span><\/a> that she is pregnant and expecting twins<\/span><\/a> through IVF. The former 16 and Pregnant<\/i> star is also mom of Gannon, 13, Jaxie, 10, and Broncs, 7, with ex Josh McKee<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

While traveling to her mom\u2019s cemetery, Mackenzie admitted that she hasn\u2019t paid a visit \u201cin forever.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t really enjoy doing this. It is hard,\u201d she said. \u201cMy dad has only been once. He doesn\u2019t go. I think it just makes it more real, and a lot of us are still having a hard time accepting [her death].\u201d<\/p>\n

Fortunately, Mackenzie had the support of Khesanio, 30, who said he was excited to \u201cbe able to meet\u201d Angie.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019d be proud of you,\u201d he said before offering hope that Angie is still part of the journey. \u201cShe\u2019s gonna be there.\u201d<\/p>\n

In December 2019, Angie passed away after battling cancer<\/span><\/a> for multiple years. She was 50.<\/p>\n

Before her death, she started every day with an uplifting and inspiring Instagram post for her followers who watched her health journey on the Teen Mom <\/i>franchise.\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n

While visiting her mom\u2019s gravesite, Mackenzie couldn\u2019t help but reflect on how much her life has changed since Angie\u2019s death.<\/p>\n

\u201cLast time I was here, I had three kids and I was asking, \u2018How am I going to get through all of this? How am I going to be a single mom?\u2019\u201d she said. \u201cNow there\u2019s a man that actually takes care of me and the kids, and now we\u2019re having twins.\u201d<\/p>\n
