Gilmore Girls<\/em><\/a> alum Yanic Truesdale<\/strong> doesn\u2019t know what his character, Michel Gerard, is up to today, but he\u2019s all in to find out in another revival.<\/p>\n \u201cI have not put any kind of thought into that because it\u2019s just been too long,\u201d the \u00c9toile<\/em><\/a> star, 55, exclusively tells Life & Style<\/em> of where he sees Michel today. \u201cBut I would say, because the show is so meaningful to people, because the youth is watching it as if it just came out last year, of course it\u2019d be very hard to turn down more episodes, developing more stories, catching up with all those characters [and] where they are in their lives.\u201d<\/p>\n Yanic continues, \u201cSo, you know, for the stars to be aligned as we\u2019re all getting close to a wheelchair, I don\u2019t know if this is going to happen, but who knows? I\u2019m open.\u201d<\/p>\n Even if the opportunity for more Gilmore Girls<\/em> doesn\u2019t come along, Yanic says he would love to work with some of his former castmates on other projects. He reunited with Melissa McCarthy<\/strong> for God\u2019s Favorite Idiot<\/em> on Netflix in 2022 and says he would work with her again \u201cin a heartbeat.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cShe\u2019s a really really close friend, and she\u2019s just so brilliant. So I would love that very much,\u201d Yanic adds. \u201cBut Lauren <\/strong>[Graham<\/strong>], Kelly <\/strong>[Bishop<\/strong>], I mean all, all of my cast members in Gilmore have a special place in my heart, so I would, if any opportunity would present itself, I would love that. But Melissa is very much in my life, and Lauren, so any of those two, I would say yes in a heartbeat.\u201d<\/p>\n The Canadian American actor played Michel, the grumpy and sarcastic yet beloved French concierge at the Independence Inn and Dragonfly Inn, in all seven seasons of Gilmore Girls<\/em>, which aired on The WB and The CW from 2000 to 2007.<\/p>\n Yanic later reprised his role in the 2016 Netflix revival, Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life<\/em>, where viewers saw Michel consider leaving the Dragonfly unless Lorelai Gilmore<\/a> (Lauren, 58) expanded it with a spa. He was also in the middle of some exciting personal developments, as he and his husband were about to adopt a child.<\/p>\n Gilmore Girls<\/em> has continued to be a streaming success on Netflix and, more recently, Hulu, and fans are constantly asking for more episodes to be released. While there has been no official word on another revival, Lauren has expressed interest in reuniting with her former castmates, as well as Kelly, 81, and even series creator Amy Sherman-Palladino<\/strong>.<\/p>\n \u201cWe never said \u2018never\u2019 because we didn\u2019t actually intend to do the [revival] for Netflix,\u201d Amy, 59, told TV Insider<\/em><\/a> at PaleyFest 2025. \u201cThen, we all got together for a panel [similar to tonight\u2019s] and we went to a bar afterwards. We all thought, \u2018Well, this was fun! Let\u2019s just do it again!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n She continued, \u201cAs you know, I love Stars Hollow. I love Lauren Graham more than life. I love Alexis<\/strong> [Bledel<\/strong>], and Kelly Bishop is my \u2018Contessa.\u2019 I bow to her.\u201d<\/p>\n However, the creator confirmed in an interview with E!
